2013 is a big year for my family. Next month, we will be adding twin girls to our family of 3 in addition to finishing our basement. We just added another bedroom to our house and nesting has kicked into full effect for me. In addition to all of these changes, I’m making 2013 the year that I get ORGANIZED!
Our house has been a frenzied mess the past few months as we get ready to add two new people to our household and undergo a major renovation. I’ve tried my best to keep things organized, but it’s been hard. I’m definitely ready to start and I know that my major helper will be the Brother P-Touch Labeler.
There’s been many times that I have tried to get everything organized in the house but it just doesn’t STAY neat and organized. Tell me I’m not the only one! Luckily, there is a variety of Brother P-Touch Labelers offered to help you get organized.
You can choose from handheld or desktop labeler or even one that connects easily to your PC! With a labeler, think how much it could change your house! As Brother states, it will help organize, identify and simplify! I’m definitely looking forward to doing that in my house!
Here are a few areas in my house that I’m looking forward to tackling! My 4 year old’s room is just full of toys. We have baskets and bins for him to put them away in but it usually ends up on the floor or just thrown away in any nook and cranny. In my attempt to clean up, I even stuffed some toys into a trash bag.
At my son’s preschool, all of the bins are neatly labeled and the kids actually put stuff back where it belongs! I’m looking forward to labeling these bins so there will be a place for action figures, dinosaurs, etc. I need to get clothes that don’t fit him out of the drawers and into bins and labeled by size!
Another room that needs to be tackled in the next few weeks is the Twins’s Room! We have received so many great things from friends and families but I have shoved all bags into the dresser while we fit all of the furniture and big items into the room. I need to get those bags out and start organizing! Something I’m excited about with the Brother P-Touch Labeler is that there is a variety of symbols to choose from when you make a label. This will come in handy when I’m labeling the twins items and I know which item belongs to which girl!
The Brother P-Touch PT-H100 that I have is going to be taking over our house in the next few weeks! It has so many great features, including:
- One-touch keys – quickly access font sizes, styles, frames and patterns
- Portable, handheld design – perfect for “on-the-go” use
- Cable labeling feature to organize your wires and cables
- Uses Laminated, “TZe” tapes up to 12mm wide – great for indoor or outdoor use
- Easy-access memory, store up to 9 “Favorite” labels
- 12 Deco Mode patterns, plus 9 Auto Design formats
- Print 1 or 2 lines of text
- Label faster using one of the decorative, pre-formatted label designs
- Split-back labels for easy peel and stick
- Operates on 6 x “AAA” batteries (not included)
Check back later this month where I show you how organized I got with the help of my Brother P-Touch Labeler!

I really really want one of those. I have had another label maker for a while now, but this one would work so much better for our family. Thanks so much for sharing how awesome it is.

Wow, this is an awesome Labeler to have! You can really organize everything with this label maker. I know a good place to use it, in the pantry labeling where you want things to go. Can not wait to see how you got organized with this!

Oh, fun! We were looking into one of these – thanks for the review!

I own one of those and it is a lifesaver! Now the key is not to label EVERYTHING:) It is hard once you get on a labeling kick:)

I need to get myself one of these!

Good luck with all your goals and ambitions. Sounds like you are a very busy family nowadays!
I had a dear friend who was so addicted to her labeler. I think she would have labeled her family members if they’d have let her. It was kind of cute to see all her boxes with the labels and how excited it made her.

I so need one of these for our house!

I have one of these and use it to label my scrapbooking, wood burning and glass etching suppies. I have the old school one from EXPO I think…it is the embosser that you turn the dial on and squeeze the handle to add each label…it was a kids edition that says each letter aloud and screams “ouch” when you turn the dial to the scissor icon to cut the label.
Amy @ Oh So Savvy Mom says
It is so small! I got one from my mom (an old school one) and it is like 3 times as big. I can’t wait to see how your organization turns out!

I love my p-touch. I’ve been looking for mine to label the kids Christmas gifts to avoid confusion & tears.
Have fun nesting.
Carrie with Children says
Oh wow – I could totally use one of these! What a perfect tool for a nesting mama, too! I need to go through my girls clothes and get rid of all the stuff that doesn’t fit – and toy organization would be amazing.

I have always wanted a labeler because I have always thought they were so neat. Now I could really use one. I am so unorganized it is not even funny. Thank you for the great review and I can’t wait to see how the Brother P-Touch Labeler helped you get organized!

I am such an organizational dork. It’s pretty sad that I’ve dreamed of owning a labeler. Maybe I can finally convince the hubs to get me one.

I’m a labeling nut!! LOVE my labeler!!

The only problem with label makers is when you start labeling EVERYTHING. For the kids just use a bracelet though.
