There’s been many times that I have been out with Hayden and had to change a diaper. Most times, we would have to search for a trash can right away to throw the diaper in or to my husband’s dismay, put the diaper in a bag and carry it with us.
Playtex has a new product called the Diaper Genie Portable Bag Dispenser which can clip on to your stroller, diaper bag, purse or anything else while you are out and about with your baby.
This compact dispenser holds 25 bags that are lined with a lavender scent. You no longer will have to worry about carrying around a stinky bag since it locks in the odor. With all of the traveling that we do, this would come in very handy! The Diaper Genie Portable Bag Dispenser is also incredibly easy to use both with getting the bags out and refilling it.
Retailing for only $4.99 at Target and coming soon to other major retailers, the Diaper Genie Portable Bag Dispenser is a must on any baby registry or for any diaper bag!
Playtex has also kicked off an exciting contest on their Facebook Page inviting moms to share what they least expected during pregnancy or as a new mom!
Playtex will be selecting daily winners, as well as a grand prize winner who will be flown to LA for the premiere of What To Expect When You’re Expecting. The film will feature Playtex Baby products including the Playtex® Nurser with Drop-Ins® Liners and the Playtex® Diaper Genie® Disposal System! So what are you waiting for – head over to the Playtex Facebook page and share your candid story today!

On the hood of my car!! I went to the car to change the baby because I left her stuff in the car on accident. I didn’t want to change her on the seats because she had a huge blow out and I knew it would be easier to wipe baby poo off of the hood then the seats! bekki1820cb at gmail dot com
I have had to change a diaper on a picnic bench in the middle of a park, I was not going to walk all the way back with a stinky kid
i have no unique places just the usual
I have had many opportunities to change babies in odd or unusual places but I believe the strangest place has to be while she laid in DH’s lap at a football game! No one even noticed! And she had the biggest smile on her face!
Ivy had a blowout last weekend while we were out to dinner…wouldn’t it figure that they wouldn’t have a changing station in the restroom?!?!?! So…we had to do it on the tail gate of hubby’s truck. I won’t be dining there again! I won’t mention any names, but it rhymes with Rexas Toadhouse!
The most unusual place i have had to change a diaper is on the bleachers at a basketball game
rocking chair.
I am currently pregnant with my first child and have not yet run into this situation, but can only imagine at what fun instances this opportunity will present itself.
I have had to change a diaper while in my lap sitting in the car waiting on my husband to get out of the store. I did not want to get out because it was super cold! I think that I was pretty good at changing diapers because NOTHING got on me at all while I changed it! =P
On the bus. We were taking the Greyhound to see my brother and it was a 3 hour trip. We didn’t have any stops left so I changed her on the seat next to me.

Airplane bathroom. Tight squeeze!
I actually changed my daughter in the truck :3 We was out shopping, and she did the doo., and I had to change her asap. And that was the cleanest and private area I could find
The most unusual place I guess would be in a booth in a restaurant. (that’ll teach ’em not to have a baby changing station in the bathroom!!)
in the car
I’ve changed my kids in a booth at a restaurant and in my lap while on an airplane.
I had to think about this one! I think it’s at the beach. All that sand – not fun! Thanks for the chance!
