I am so excited that Spring is here!

 

When Spring arrives I love to make bright and colorful desserts. Last year I was on a kick making Lemonade and Dreamsicle Cupcakes!

 

When Wilton sent me an assortment of their Easter products I was thrilled! I had so much fun making these cupcakes!

 

 

It was a cold and rainy day so I decided to spend the afternoon baking!

 

I had all my ingredients bought (I went ahead and used store bought! Easy as possible for this Mama!) and set up on the counter.

 

I brought out the Springtime Cupcakes Pan which allowed you to bake 3 different types of flower cupcakes. Perfect for Spring!

 

I filled it up with batter…..

 

 

but when I took them out they were really small.

 

I tried take two.

 

Don’t ask why I filled them to the top!

 

 

I’m sure all you bakers are laughing at me! You can imagine what happened! It turned into one giant cupcake!

 

What I didn’t realize that the first batch–where I actually filled it correctly–were perfect when decorated!

 

I was SO excited to start decorating.

 

I decided to use icing that was pink and yellow. Perfect spring colors! I also bought white icing to dye green and blue.

 

There were so many cute things to try!

 

 

Cute little bunny icing decorations, little bunnies to stick in the cupcakes, a nest made of jelly beans!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I loved the decorative baking cups they sent too!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The treat boxes they sent me were perfect to pack up the cupcakes and use for gift giving this weekend!

 

 

The Hop N’ Tweet Doilies are perfect to lay out your springtime treats on.

 

 

Everything was of the highest quality. It was all bright and colorful and I had so much fun making these!

 

All of these are great to make Spring Treats, not just Easter Treats!

    I love to make cupcakes in the spring. I am actually going to bake some from a mix that Betty Crocker put out for Spring. I’m going to dye my frosting in cute neon green, pink and purple. looking forward to making these with the kids for Easter.

    Well, my favorite thing to make isn’t really a springtime treat, but I make them year-round anyway. Pumpkin Chocolate Muffins are the one thing that I can make and not screw up. Baking is something I really love doing and I’m getting better and better at it! This is a great giveaway!
