Our son just turned four and has been 100% during the day for a while now, but still has the occasional night time accident. Our youngest daughter is just turning two and is so interested in potty training from watching the older kids!
To help with the night time accidents, we wanted to try the GoodNites Disposable Bed Mats. It was easy to order them using Walmart’s Ship-to-Store service. And when we went to pick them up, we decided to get a few new bed time books too!
Shipping to the Walmart store was free and the pack of 9 bed mats was less than $10! It was really easy to log into my Walmart.com account and choose the store I wanted to pick them up at. You can even download a $2.00 off coupon, making them an even better price! I gave the helpful employee my confirmation number and had them in my cart within minutes.
GoodNites Disposable Mats are supposed to be super absorbent and they are a really good size: 2.6′ by 2.9′.
We have been using a washable bed mat and it slips all over the bed when my son moves around in his sleep. The GoodNites not only have a leakage barrier, but they have peel-off adhesive strips to keep it attached securely.
I thought that my son would want to wait until after book time to put the mat on his bed, but he was too excited! And the bed mat, for being a disposable, was really quiet and soft. All three kids wanted to try it out so they cuddled into bed and we took turns reading their bed time books. They were so comfy we had a hard time convincing our daughters to go back to their own beds!
Unfortunately, our son had a big glass of water too close to bed time and we got to put the GoodNites Bed Mat to the test. It was so absorbent and stayed right where it was supposed to be. No moisture leaked through or off the side of the mat. If he hadn’t have had an accident, the mat was thick and sturdy enough to last more than a few nights.
I wish we had these earlier this year when we went to Disneyland! It was not fun crossing our fingers every night that he wouldn’t leak through his pull up and make an embarrassing conversation with hospitality necessary! We also have a few family trips for the holidays planned where we will be not only sleeping in a hotel, but also in the home of our extended family. These GoodNites Bed Mats will be so convenient and stress relieving!

Wow, these are awesome! I might get these for my teenage daughter for certain times of the month, it would work great for that too!
I can see using these for toddlers, too. When babies have diaper rashes, I like to let them “air out.” These would make a great lining for a play yard while the baby is air drying.
I’ve heard these work well. I’ll keep them in mind when I start potty training my son.
As we transition from Pull-ups to cotton underwear,. this will be a great item to have on hand.
I had no idea they had these! These would also be great for postpartum!!
This is a great idea! They can be used in so many ways and bet they are cheaper than the hospital types.
How sweet that they are enjoying story time on the bed together! I am happy to hear that the bed mats worked for you!
