Grant’s Farm

We love Grant’s Farm and I’m so glad it is set to open on Saturday, April 17th!

What Is Grant’s Farm?

Well, it’s basically a farm! 🙂 But so much more!! There are over 1,000 animals at the Farm. When you first get there, you get on a tram and it takes you through the Deer Park. Usually, you will pass a ton of animals, some lakes (with bright orange Koi!) and just relax!

Then the tram will drop you off at the Tier Garten. Here you get to walk around and see lots of different animals, including giant tortiose, kangaroos, birds and elephants! You can also feed the goats some milk! There is also a carousel now, which costs $2 per person.

And don’t forget the shows! There is an elephant show and also Animal Encounters, where you can get up close to some animals.

And for you adults out there? 

FREE BEER. Yes, I said Free Beer.

At The Bauernhof, you can enjoy complimentary samples of Anheuser Busch beer. Usually, it is 2 beers per person, and yes they do ID! And of course they do serve food like pretzles, nachos and bratwurst!


And while you are there, don’t forget to check out the Clydesdales Stables! There, you can see some magestic Clydesdales! 


And of course there is the history of Grant’s Farm! Ulysses S. Grant originally owned the land that Grant’s Farm is on and you drive pass his cabin while on the tram. He built most of the cabin himself. Then the Busch family purchased the land and run what is now Grant’s Farm!
