    Besides recycling, we try to reuse items where we can, donate items that we no longer need but aren’t ready to be recycled, I’ve added reusable metal water bottles to our cabinets to cut down on the number of plastic bottles we go through in our house, bring our own bags shopping, and we use as many green cleaners as we can. My next step will be replacing our “doggy pick up bags” that are just plastic with biodegradable pick up bags.

    I am using the reuseable bags and waititng till we have full loads to do laundry and dishes to make our lives more green, ohhh and recycling of course! 🙂

    I love to live my life greener by not using harsh odor chemicals in our home… We love to garden and we compost our kitchen scraps…

    We’re using cloth diapers as much as possible (don’t have a whole lot yet), and using reusable shopping bags (when I remember 🙂

    We buy secondhand pretty much everything that is reasonable to buy secondhand (e.g., clothes, household goods, not underpants ^_^). It keeps items out of the landfill and saves production/shipping materials/energy.

    We use cloth diapers with our almost potty trained 2 year old and plan to cd from day one with baby #3 due in Sept.
