Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays – the cool air, leaves rustling and pumpkins everywhere. I knew when I had my son that Halloween would become an even more fun but I had no idea how much he would get into it. It’s by far his most favorite holiday and he likes wearing his costumes year-round. But as soon as September rolls around, he is ready for me to decorate the house and to start picking out his newest costume.
Since Hayden wears his costumes year-round, I knew that he needed a costume made of good quality. We have bought so many costumes before that after a few uses they just fall apart. Hayden loves looking online at costumes and when I pulled up the Chasing Fireflies website, he couldn’t get enough of it. They have costumes for children, adults and even pets! They even have costumes where you can have the whole family coordinate! Chasing Fireflies offers up so many costumes that we haven’t seen in stores or even online. We spent so much time looking at the costumes before I made Hayden narrow it down to three.
Aren’t those the most amazing costumes? I’ve never seen anything like the Alien or Octopus costume anywhere in stores! While I’ve seen doctor costumes, I knew that quality of it would really hold up to Hayden’s eager wearing.
Part of me really wanted Hayden to pick the alien costume, but he has been on such a “Doc McStuffins” kick, I knew he would want to be the doctor. I’m so glad he picked that costume, because he absolutely loves it!
Hayden wanted the complete outfit, so we ordered the Jr. Doctor Scrubs, the Jr. Lab Coat and of course, a Stethoscope! When we ordered the costume, it shipped very quickly! I couldn’t wait to see Hayden’s face when we opened the box! Hayden wears a 4T usually, so I decided to order the Size 4/6 in the scrubs and jacket. They are a little big on him, but with a shirt underneath (since it will be chilly Halloween night) it fits perfectly.
The Jr. Doctor Scrubs come with a shirt, pants, shoe covers, cap and mask. I have to admit, he looks too adorable in this costume!
Ever since we received the costume, he’s been wearing it around the house (he says it’s SO comfy!) and has been giving us “check-ups”.
