I can hardly believe that Halloween has already flown by! My son is a huge fan of the holiday so we spent all of last month decorating our house, getting ready for his class Halloween party and constantly talking about our Trick or Treat plans. Hayden isn’t a big fan of candy so while he was excited about the party and the dressing up and going door to door, he wasn’t to excited about the candy. There’s been too many years where he has gotten an overload of candy and Mom and Dad are forced {haha} to eat it or we donate it. This year, I was excited to give out a non-candy item for our Trick or Treaters and for Hayden’s class party!
When I opened the box full of Trash Pack and Glitzi Globes to show Hayden, he literally squealed. He’s long been a fan of The Trash Pack, the funny but disgusting “gross gang in your garbage” and he’s been trying to collect them all – there’s over 100 of these gross guys! The Glitzi Globes were brand new to him but he declared them “awesome” and thought the girls in his class would love them so much! They are DIY miniature snow globes that are fun and sparkly!
The Trash Pack and Glitzi Globes went into the treat bags for my son’s Kindergarten class and all of the kids absolutely loved them! They were such a fun alternative and break to all of the candy they would get on Halloween and unlike candy, provide hours of entertainment! In addition to putting them in the treat bag, they were also fun prizes at the Halloween Party!
If you’re looking for a non-candy alternative, Trash Packs and Glitzi Globes are the way to go! All of the kids absolutely loved them and I think they are a great addition to a treat bag for ANY party!

I have not seen these before. Will keep in mind for next year!
I’m like you. It’s so nice to find those non-candy treats!
I love that non-candy alternatives for Halloween are becoming more popular. It’s fun to trick or treat, but the candy that’s hauled home is just overload!!
These are a great idea instead of candy. They get so much candy when trick or treating, it would be nice to get something other than that! And my girls love things like these!
A great alternative to sugar overload. And much more fun.
My grandsons actually got excited when they got something different while trick or treating that wasn’t candy! This is a great idea!
First time to this blog.
Hmm… I feel like I will need to buy the Glitzi Globes
Thanks for a nice review 🙂
It is nice to give kids a treat they can use long after they have digested a chocolate bar.
These are really cute items to hand out at Halloween instead of candy. I am sure that kids would love to get these and play with them. I need to get some of these for my nephew!
cool stuff. will look for them next year!
we shared these with classmates and at trunk or treat. the kids LOVED them so so much!!
What a great idea! I loved Halloween but I don’t liked the idea for my kids to be loaded of sweets/sugar eating their candies.
what a great idea instead of candy
These are a much better alternative to candy. I am going to have to get some of these for the kids.
That is a great alternative to candy!
Very cute! I love the idea of giving these instead of candy!
Oh what an awesome idea, Glitzi Globes sound like great non candy alternatives for trick or treaters!
So tired of Halloween candy, with 6 kids we end up with enough candy to last for years lol! I wish more people would give out non candy treats although my kids will probably never speak to me again if they knew I said that 😉
I think those are a wonderful alternative to candy on Halloween. I’m sure they’re something kids would be excited to see in their Halloween buckets.
I will have to keep this in mind for next year. This is a great alternative to candy or great for class parties.
