Happy Father's Day! - Sippy Cup Mom

Happy Father’s Day! I hope everyone is having a great weekend and will have a great Father’s Day today.

I want to wish all the Dad’s out there a Happy Father’s Day and especially to my husband, who I consider the best Dad out there!
I always knew that Heath would be a great Dad. When I was pregnant Heath read more books than I did about pregnancy and babies. He was so excited about painting and getting together Hayden’s room. When in labor, he was the most amazing person and helped me so much.

I am so incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful husband and Hayden is so lucky to have such a great Daddy.

The first time Heath held Hayden.

From the moment Hayden was born Heath jumped right in. When I was nursing Hayden, Heath would still wake up every 2 hours, get Hayden and change his diaper and bring him to me–even when he had to be at work. He lets me sleep in on his days off so he can spend time with Hayden one on one.

Watching him with Hayden fills my heart with joy. They laugh hysterically together over everything. They cuddle on the couch and watch Cardinals baseball games. They have tickle fests and play chase all over the house.

Hayden’s first word of course was “DaDa”. Now when Heath comes home from work Hayden screams “Dah Deeee!!!” and runs for a “Big Hug!”.

So Happy Father’s Day to my husband!

And thank you and love to all the other “Dad’s out there in our life!

*And I don’t want to be a downer, but a special note to my Dad who passed away 7 years ago. I’m sad that Hayden will never get to meet him, but happy to know that Hayden has a special angel looking out from him in heaven.

Your husband seems like a great dad and an all around awesome guy! Love the pictures, especially the beach one. That immediately melted my heart. Hope you had a fantastic Father's Day!

If you are on blogger, go to your blogger Dashboard, on the top right you will see a link called " my accounts". I full page will pull up. In the center column you will see "feedburner" click that and it will walk you through the steps and give you the html to put on your gadgets. I hope this helps and thanks for stopping by.

What a great Father's Day post. It is so great when you see your hubby as a great dad. The interaction between them is always so sweet to watch. And you are right…your dad is watching from above and I am sure is so proud 🙂
