Hillsong - Let Hope Rise and Greater on DVD December 20th

I love celebrating Christmas with my kids – we have those traditions like seeing Santa, singing Christmas carols, making gingerbread houses and driving around to see Christmas lights. But it’s also an important time of year to teach my kids the real reason for Christmas. We talk about the story of Jesus and we always make sure to talk about others that don’t have as much as us. In the past, we have adopted a family to give gifts to but this year we picked out gifts to bring to our local Children’s Hospital. All 3 of my kids enjoyed picking out presents and my son will be coming with me as we drop them off in a few days.

Hillsong – Let Hope Rise was a huge phenomenon when it came out in theaters a few months ago and it’s the perfect gift to give this Christmas to continue the worship experience this season. Greater is a film about an unlikely young man who had all the odds stacked up against him when he tried out to play football at one of the most prestigious football programs in the country. Both films highlight the perseverance people can have when they lean on their faith and when they do that – God enables them to do extraordinary things in life. That’s why I think these two movies are perfect gifts this holiday season!
