I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving is THIS week and Christmas is less than 5 weeks away! We are going to be so busy the net few weeks with school events, holiday shopping, fun family activities and so much more! I don’t want to spend any of that time cleaning my house longer than necessary – that’s why I love EASY-OFF® Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner and EASY-OFF® Fume Free Oven Cleaner!
When I was younger, I was very particular about not eating any really messy foods. For some reason, it used to drive me crazy! I’ve had to get over that since my husband and my son both love messy foods! One of our favorite “messy food recipes” is Baked Mostacciolli! It’s an easy recipe to put together and on of my go-to weeknight meals!
Baked Mostacciolli
What You Need
– Ground Beef
– Onion
– 1 Can Diced Tomatoes
– 1 Can Tomato Paste
– 1 Can Tomato Sauce
– Parmesan Cheese
– 1 Box of Mostacciolli Pasta
– 2 Cups of Mozzarella Cheese {Although living in St. Louis, we use Provel Cheese!}
How To Make
– Preheat oven to 350.
– Boil mostacciolli according to directions. {I always sprinkle a little salt into the water!}
– In large saucepan, brown ground beef and chopped onion until no longer pink. Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste and tomato sauce to saucepan. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
– Pour meat and sauce mixture into pot of drained mostacciolli pasta. Mix together.
– Pour into baking dish and then cover with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
– Bake for 30-35 minutes. Warning: This will be very delicious and serves a crowd!
As much as I love Baked Mostacciolli, I don’t love the mess it leaves in my oven! There’s just something about bubbly cheese and sauce that just gets all over the inside of my oven!

Oh I can relate with you when it comes to cleaning the oven mess. I’ve tried a similar product but the smell was intolerable. I then made sure to NOT spill anything on the oven and when I do *I hope it doesn’t happen again*, I would love to try this product. 🙂 Your recipe by the way looks really delicious. 🙂
I definitely have to try this. My oven is overdue for a cleaning and I need to get to it BEFORE Thanksgiving!
I hate cleaning the oven; and let it go way too long. What a great reminder and I’ll have to try this product.

Mmm, that looks delicious, and I know exactly what you mean about the mess it would leave behind, LOL!! Anything that can save me time cleaning during the holidays is a wonderful thing. I would use the time saved from using Easy-Off…to clean the rest of the house. LOL!
I totally need this because the inside of my oven needs some help. I am going to wait to tackle it after the holidays though. 🙂
That looks so good! I need to buy some Easy Off, I really hate cleaning my oven. So much so that I just started doing it a few months ago. LOL!
I hate it when my oven smells like burned food. I’ve never used a cleaner, though. I always use the self clean (aka my oven’s on fire) feature that takes like half a day.I never even thought to use a cleaner, though!
So, funny story, I tried to do a self clean this weekend and in about 10 minutes in, my oven was on fire. Since it was locked I couldn’t just put it out. It was a little scary for about 10 seconds. But it went out, and I still have a dirty oven. I think I will but some EasyOff in there before I try again.
That recipe looks so easy and delicious!
Between Thanksgiving, birthdays, family visiting, and Christmas, I can use all the help I can get with easy cleaning tips!
Perfect timing with all the baking I’ll be doing for the next full month!!
I really need to pick up a can of this! With the extra time, I could be playing with my son or spending time with the hubby.
With the extra time…hmmm….lets see…perhaps bake another cake? 😉
I need this in my life especially since I cook for others this would save me a lot of time too.
I could use a can of this! And the recipe looks great- my daughter would love it with the provel cheese, she lived in StL for a while and picked up a taste for provel.
I’ll be needing a can of Easy Off after Thanksgiving. Sadly, I will probably spend the freed up time working.
I’d get right back to the cooking if I had the extra time!
Wait? You mean I am actually supposed to clean my oven? just kidding!
I am super careful ion my oven b/c I hate to clean up messes. Your entree would have a foil covered baking sheet underneath to catch any mess! I dislike cleaning the oven that much! hahaha
I would probably clean other things with the free time. This place is going to be a mess after the holidays.
You reminded me I need to pick up so Easy Off to clean my oven tomorrow. I don’t like to start the holiday off with a yucky oven. That looks like a good Baked Mostacciolli recipe will have to try it out.
This is great, especially at this time of year when my family helps with cooking and makes messes. lol.
This sound awesome for all the messes I plan on making this holiday season.
P.S. that looks DELISH!
I have always liked Easy Off because it works well.
I use the self clean in my oven but it takes like 30 minutes and stinks the house! I usually do it when the kids are at school but I think I’m going to try and use the EASY-OFF Fume Free next time.
I hate cleaning the oven and I am always spilling something in it.
i hate cleaning the oven. so much!
My extra time will be used to do the 50-11 other things like fold napkins, plan a menu…etc.etc.etc.
My extra time will be spent cleaning other things in my house since I won’t have to devote ALL my time to cleaning just the oven!!
MmmYUM! That looks so good right now – and I’m STARVING! My kids would love that too. On another note… I haven’t used Easy Off in a long time and my oven DOES need a good cleaning. I should pick some up.
My oven could use a good cleaning but it’s definitely a chore I dread. I think I need to grab a can of Easy Off and I definitely need to try this recipe! Looks delicious!
i’ve heard great things about easy off!
Okay your recipe looks SO yummy! Good thing you found a good cleaner! heh heh. I am terrible about cleaning our oven. It’s been a year (I know this b/c that’s when we got the oven and I have never cleaned it. Guess I need to do so!
You can’t go wrong with pasta and cheese! But baked cheese definitely is a pain to clean off. I’ll have to try easy off!
I like to read, so I would read some books.
I hate having to clean the oven. I always have a tough time, but then again I don’t really use easy off. I need to try it now! And I would use my extra time to read.
Thank you for sharing!
That dish looks delish!! Pinned! Also…I need to try some Easy Off. I’ve got some stubborn stuff at the bottom that hasn’t come off with everything else I’ve tried.
I’m not even sure how to say it, but it looks so good! And thanks for the reminder, do I ever need some oven cleaner.
Easy Off really helps me keep my oven clean and it has a new formula that does not smell really bad. I need to get going and clean my oven, and your dish looks so yummy!
