Post sponsored by Lunchbox but all opinions are my own.
The Holiday season is officially upon us and I’m making my list and checking it twice. Of course, I can’t forget my first baby – our lab Zoey! We love getting her a little present and I think that she deserves her own little treat for the Holidays too. I’ve attempted to make Zoey homemade treats before but I think we really knocked it out of the park with this one – the kids loved helping make this special treat and Zoey gobbled it up. Holiday Dog Bark is the perfect gift for your dog and also makes a special gift for the other dogs in your life too – just store in an airtight container.
It’s easy to make this treat and requires just a few ingredients too.
Ingredients
- Crunchy Peanut Butter
- Carob Chips {NOT chocolate chips, but carob chips as chocolate is not good for dogs. Carob chips can be found at any health food store}
- Milk-Bones
- Pup-Peroni
Directions
- Melt the carob chips and crunchy peanut butter together either in the microwave or on the stove top. Make sure to keep stirring.
- Cove a baking sheet with wax paper. Pour the carob mixture onto wax paper, making sure to smooth it out to cover it completely.
- Add in Milk-Bones and Pup-Peroni by pressing in firmly.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and then store in an airtight container after that!
- Don’t forget to give your dog a small amount as a Holiday treat!
