With the holiday season fully upon us, there are so many special traditions that I like to do with my family. We love decorating our Christmas tree together, getting into our pajamas and checking out all of the Christmas lights around town, watching Christmas Vacation as we sip hot chocolate and of course, meeting Santa!
One of my favorite things about this holiday season is the food! Baking cookies, a delicious meal in the crockpot and maybe a candy cane to enjoy? It seems like the best food is during the winter! One of our family traditions is enjoying Hickory Farms with my family. As far back as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed Hickory Farms at family gatherings and I’ve continued that tradition with my family!

One of my favorite holiday traditions is getting together with my sister, SIL, mom, cousins, aunts a few days before Christmas Eve to bake… we make a day of it to prepare for our annual Christmas Eve family gathering! Its so much fun.. great time with family that lives out of town, lots of laughs.. even as adults, it still gets us excited for Christmas Eve
My big Holiday Tradition is to make my desserts and wrap presents and take my stuff to the Big Family Christmas Party that we have every year on Christmas Eve. We have a blast seeing my family and listening to Christmas music and staying up late and having fun with all my relatives!

I get lots of fleece on sale and sew fleece mittens with a warm lining for the mitten drives – I like to make each pair special with a bow, or a little fur around the edge, or add a little heart, ,etc.
