One of my favorite things about this time of year is all of the traditions we have as a family. We like to put up our decorations, watch Christmas movies in our jammies, drive around the neighborhood to look at lights and meet Santa!
But a BIG part of our Holiday traditions includes the food. I love making cookies with my kids, having a delicious dinner in the crock pot and having friends and family over to enjoy a long-standing tradition – Hickory Farms!
Hickory Farms is America’s most famous holiday food gift brand, enjoyed by holiday shoppers seeking the perfect gifts for family and friends for over 60 years. For as long as I can personally remember, Hickory Farms has always been a part of our holiday gatherings – and I’m sure they have been a part of yours too! Hickory Farms is very proud to be a part of those nostalgic moments and continues to focus on and celebrate its long heritage of tradition and authentic holiday memories.
According to a national survey, nearly half of American adults agree that the holiday shopping season officially starts when they see Hickory Farms arrive at their local mall and I completely agree. Only when I see that kiosk pop up, do I know the season is officially upon us!
Hickory Farms helps people appreciate shared moments that are worth embracing and passing down through generations of families, but also creating new traditions and sharing them with loved ones.
Are you looking to make a new tradition? Check out some of the delicious Hickory Farms gifts!
If you’re looking to add Hickory Farms to your holiday traditions, Hickory Farms’ food gifts are available at Holiday Market locations nationwide, on hickoryfarms.com and at leading retailers.

I went out of state for two weeks during the holiday (the only time I could) and when I came back home, my husband had rounded up his nearby family and they put a 6+ ft tall tree in our bare living room, decorated it with handmade paper ornaments and hung a banner up “welcome home baby”…it was the sweetest thing as I missed home so badly during those two weeks….he’s always forgetful when it comes to ‘romance’ stuff, so doing something like this was, trust me…AWESOME!

I love so many of our traditions during the holidays… the weekend we decorate the house and yard as a family we go out in pajamas with hot chocolate and snacks to look at lights, then we come home and watch a movie, the kids love this! I love our cookie, candy and treat baking day… just before Christmas Eve I get together with my sister, mom, cousins and aunts to bake all day for a huge family gathering on Christmas Eve. Then Christmas Eve has always been a big all day event since I was a kid. We gather at whoever house is hosting that year mid-morning. All the kids bake cookies for Santa to take home at the end of the night. The day is filled with family, lots of food (everyone brings something – usually appetizer and finger food snacks but lasagna, bread and salad is the main food), lots of fun, games, gift exchange, reindeer food and fake snowball fight usually end the night.
