When we go on trips whether abroad for a week or just an escape to the country for the weekend, we often consider how we’ll keep the kids amused while we are away. However we rarely think about how to entertain the adults when going away.
If you’re ever at a loss for what to do when the kids are off having an adventure, or if it’s past their bedtime, then look no further than our list of different activities to keep the adults amused:
Drinking Games
Whilst also drinking responsibly adults can play drinking games in the evening to unwind, bond and learn more about others on their trip. From simple games like never have I ever to more sporty efforts like beer pong, you can be entertained for hours whilst either learning, competing or being active with your fellow gamers.
Bingo Game
Whilst kids can participate in just for fun bingo, it’s only the adults who can play bingo for real money. A great way to do this whether you’re on a trip at home or away is by playing bingo online for the chance to win a huge jackpot sum. If you don’t know where to start when it comes to bingo, check out bingo sites like bingolucks which are ready to provide you with all things online bingo, from the best offers and deals to news about new sites and ways to play.
Visit Local Festivals
Quite often local towns and villages will hold their own festivals and events, or at the least special food and drinks markets where you can sample and purchase local produce. Get a feel for local delicacies, learn the culture and partake in
Water Sports
If you are going on a trip to somewhere with a beach, you will hopefully be able to take advantage of water sports to keep you entertained. For various reasons, unfortunately there are age restrictions on certain activities meaning that young children may not be able to take part in the sports, deeming this an adult only activity. Whether it’s water-skiing, yachting, jet skiing or simply going on a banana boat, the very minimum requirement is usually that you are able to confidently swim a reasonable distance in case you fall into the water. Certain group activities like pedalos or banana boats can be extremely fun and a great way of bonding.
Flying
Ok so perhaps not literally flying like a bird, but at least on a plane, or in a helicopter. Many resorts offer helicopter tours of the area which are a great way to take in the country you’re staying in, or again if you’re on a coastal resort you might find that a small sea plane operates in the area, giving you the chance to take in a breath-taking view or even island hop. Alternatively in some places you can even take a flying lesson on these planes, giving you control of the view!
