Have you ever made bubble art? If not you should try it. It really is a lot of fun! All you need are a few small containers, food coloring, bubbles, paper, and a straw!
Pour a small amount of bubbles in each container- a separate container for each color food dye that you have. Add the color to each container of bubbles.
Dip one end of a straw in one of the bubble containers. The straw size doesn’t matter- try different sizes if you have them!
And the BLOW! Blow through the straw right over the paper! When the bubbles land on the paper and pop it will leave the food coloring behind!
Experiment with other objects! We tried a rubber band and a small strainer.
Frame your artwork and hang it proudly for all to see!

How fun is this! And how cool that the items needed are generally things that we already have on hand!

I am an art teacher and have also done this with my students. However, I do it a little different. I fill a small plastic cup with about a tsp. of dish soap, an inch of water and a bunch of food coloring. (a separate cup for each color… its also fun to mix secondary colors.) Then they blow bubbles into the cup with a straw, like blowing bubbles in milk.. until the bubbles rise above the rim of the cup. Then you scrape the paper across the bubbles, popping them and they pop on the paper in the hundreds. They love the look. Plus, its super fast and you can make large sheets a lot quicker!

I remember bubble art in school very fondly! Definitely something I intend to try with my children.
