A few weeks ago I blogged about the HP Savings Center and their very cool Instant Ink program. With the ink program, I’ve been able to make some crafty creations without ever having to worry if I will run out of ink mid-project or if each page is costing me $3.00 to print (it’s not).
I’ve been pretty busy making some printables for my preschooler as well as some BEAUTIFUL 4×6 photos and made a garland on my mantel for the twins first birthday party!
Projects were all printed with HP ink on HP paper!
I’ve also been utilizing the 7 day meal planner which has given me some new ideas as well as streamlining my weekly planning, all without me initiating a thing. I have it set to send from HP Connected instantly to my printer at 9 am on Wednesdays! Our favorite recipe so far has been the Tortilla Casserole with a side of steamed zucchini, which also doubled as a quick lunch recipes for the kids and myself. I’ll share it here:
Tortilla Casserole
Makes 4 servings
Prep: 10 minutes
Cooking: 30-35 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups baked or reduced fat tortilla chips, lightly crushed and divided
1 (10-12oz) can chicken breast, drained
2 cups mild to hot salsa
1 cup frozen corn
1/4 cup reduced fat sour cream
1 TB flour
1/2 cup reduced-fat jalapeno or plain cheddar cheese
Thinly sliced jalapeno peppers for garnish
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 7×11 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Place 1 1/2 cups chips in the bottom of dish. In a medium bowl, combine chicken, salsa, corn, sour cream and flour; mix well. Spoon over chips. Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes. Sprinkle dish with remaining chips and the cheese. Continue baking for 5 to 10 more minutes or until heated through and cheese melts. Top with peppers if desired.
Whether I was getting organized, cooking, teaching a child, or crafting beautiful things, HP printers and ink really made the job quite easy.
I would even go as far as saying it is a necessary part of the Mom Arsenal!
Disclaimer: I was provided the HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-one Printer as well as a year subscription to Instant Ink by HP for review purposes only. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
