Just a few days ago, I had the amazing experience of attending the red “green” carpet premiere of Disney Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur at the El Capitan Theater, which is in theaters on November 25th.
I had the chance to previously walk the “red carpet” for the Monsters University premiere so I thought I knew what to expect, but this was a completely different experience!
We had the chance to see the movie on Sunday night, so I knew going in that I’d have to bring along some tissues – don’t forget them – but I was so excited to watch it a second time at the premiere to see some thing I had missed. It definitely didn’t disappoint and The Good Dinosaur was just as good the second time!
When we arrived at the green carpet, it was so exciting. There were so many people waiting around to see all of the celebrities arrive and as I walked the carpet with my blogger friends, we passed a few like Ian Ziering, Mario Lopez, Weird Al Yankovic and John Lasseter. The lights were bright and the media was lined up to interview the celebrities. You can actually watch this short interview with Weird Al Yankovic below where you see me oblivious behind him just tweeting away on my phone!
The premiere kicked off with walking the green carpet which was themed to The Good Dinosaur. We followed the path of the river to the theater as we passed by trees and other foliage on the carpet.
Of course, we also had fun spotting the voice cast of The Good Dinosaur which includes stars like Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand, Marcus Scribner, Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Steve Zahn, AJ Buckley, Anna Paquin and Sam Elliott.
After the movie was over, we had the chance to walk over to Ohm Nightclub, where they were having the after party for The Good Dinosaur! There, we had the chance to enjoy dinner, drinks and fun games. I instantly fell in love with the incredible The Good Dinosaur decor too.
I even had the chance to chat and take a photo with Anna Paquin, who was incredibly nice. She’s the voice of Ramsey in The Good Dinosaur.
It was such an incredible experience – a definite bucket list item – attending the world premiere of The Good Dinosaur. That day, I was incredibly tired with how busy we had been but because of the excitement, my adrenaline kicked in and I had such a fantastic time with the other bloggers on the trip.
