I tend to geek out over a lot of things but the Marvel Universe is one thing I tend to really geek out over. I’m lucky that my husband shares this with me. We love watch all of the movies and TV shows that take place in this Marvel Universe and my son loves us for it since we tend to go overboard with buying toys for him.
My Little Avenger!
So, when I got an email inviting me out to Los Angeles for an Avengers: Age of Ultron event with Disney, I couldn’t even process it right away – it was just too exciting! Now, we have our tentative itinerary for later this week and I wanted to share it with you so you can follow along on this fun event!
Thursday we will be getting a sneak peek of Avengers: Ag of Ultron. My husband can’t even handle this and has promised me that I can’t tell him a thing about it! Don’t worry, no spoilers from me!
Friday, we will get to see the latest documentary from Disneynature – Monkey Kingdom! Set in the storied jungles of South Asia, “Monkey Kingdom” showcases the adventures of new mom Maya, a clever and resourceful blonde-bobbed monkey who’s determined to give her son a leg up in the world. I absolutely can’t wait to see this and you will want to also! Plus, for every ticket sold opening week (April 17-23, 2015), Disneynature will make a donation to Conservation International to help protect monkeys and other endangered species in their natural habitats.

After the screening, we head to the LA Zoo where we will be able to get up close with the monkeys and chimpanzees there!
Then, it’s on to another exciting part – we will be visiting the set of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D! If you love the Marvel movies but you’re not watching this show, go ahead and close out my post and head to ABC.com or Hulu.com. Seriously, I don’t mind because you need to start binge-watching this show stat! I love how it ties into the other Marvel movies and there’s always moments that will have you exclaiming out loud when something comes together.
Saturday, we will be heading to Walt Disney Studios for the Avengers: Age of Ultron Press Junket. Yup, we will be interviewing most of the cast, Director Joss Whedon and Producer & Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige!

How exciting, I can’t quite make the transition into the Avengers range but I love my superheros in their won franchises, Hello Iron Man! I am a big X-Man fan too- but I know we will be giving Age of Ultron a watch, regardless.

We LOVE all the Marvel movies! It is so fantastic that you will be meeting the cast of The Avengers as well as the director, Joss Whedon! I have always wanted to ask Joss Whedon and Mark Ruffalo if they ever considered redoing the Hulk movie. I think that Ruffalo has done the Hulk justice and would like to see a Hulk movie starring him and have the movie directed by the amazing Joss Whedon. The chemistry of the cast is fantastic. My husband and I have already set that as our date night with a babysitter all lined up for the evening. I hope you have a fantastic time!
