We have two dogs and an older house and along with those things come your normal allergens (we also live right in front of a corn field). Our dogs also sleep in our room, and the dander is always worse in the winter with the house locked down for months on end. Since we’ve received the Luma Comfort Air Purifier, I’ve noticed a DRASTIC difference in the air quality. We were given the AP170W that covers an area of 170 square feet, which is PERFECT for our bedroom. However, before we put it in our bedroom, we had it in our living room. We purposely left for a good amount of time with the Luma running and when we came home all I could smell was CLEAN air. I was amazed and instantly fell in love.
The Luma Comfort Air Purifier has three fan settings; high, medium and low as well as a timer setting so you can either leave it running or adjust the timer to your needs. Now, I will say that on the box of the Luma Comfort Air Purifier it claims to be whisper quiet, and that is true on the lowest and middle fan speed settings. However, the highest setting is loud. It’s actually loud enough to drown out the sound of the TV in our bedroom, but DO NOT let that turn you off. I actually don’t mind the noise on the highest setting and use it as white noise at night. During the day, we simply lower the fan speed and it’s virtually unnoticeable.
The Luma Comfort Air Purifier is like the Fort Knox of air purifiers. NOTHING is coming out dirty with its FIVE purification methods; HEPA filter, Carbon pre-filter, TiO2 filter, VOC Filter, and UV light. I also love the SmartClean indicator that lets you know when each filter needs to be replaced; no more guessing! We’ve been using the Luma Comfort Air Purifier since mid November with no signs of the filters needing to be replaced yet.
I cannot recommend the Luma Air Purifier enough. . We’re already talking about getting another one for other rooms of the house as well as looking into their other products for the summer (The misting fans look AWESOME).

Anything to help keep my hone’s air clean and healthy gets an A+ in my book! I’d love to try out this model myself and see if it helps with seasonal allergies.
I live in a studio and cooking smells drive me insane. I was considering getting an air purifier. I believe i looked in an Orec. Reviews were good for the most part, cons were energy costs. would be great if you can do a follow up on this reviewing noise levels and energy costs. and of course continued effeciveness.
I’d love to have something like this for my bedroom. I’m allergic to everything these days, and I bet it would help me sleep better.

Wow, this thing looks amazing! I am having major issues with my allergy to dust mites. We’ve moved into a house with more carpet than our last house, and the dust mites are driving me crazy. Until we can replace carpet with hardwoods, I need to try this air purifier. Thanks!
i need to check these out. 2/3 of our kids have environmental allergies and i think an air purifier is a wise investment for their bedrooms at least.

I like white noise during the night actually. I had a problem with increased static electricity with our air cleaner so we run it a bit less often

Yes, It is the best air purifier. it kept the impurities out form the air and keep the home air clean and pure. It is also goo that it would be great for asthma and allergy patience to keep their health better.
I would choose the 50501-N True Hepa Allergen Reducer because it has a permanent Hepa Filter. I have thrown out other air purifier because the replacement hepa filters are close to the price or I can’t find a new filter for them.
