My son is *almost* 3 (insert sad and happy mixed feeling face) and is having a blast with the VTechInnoTab® 3S Wi-Fi Learning App Tablet.
The setup process through the Learning Lodge software (done by an adult) activates the InnoTab, allows downloads of videos, games and other apps, and allows personalization of the tablet. The rechargeable battery pack with AC adapter saves disposable batteries and headache and even teaches little ones to have a safe charging space for their electronics – just like mom and dad!
The browser is also very kid-safe and allows access to pre-approved websites with education in mind. Parents can also pre-approve additional websites with password control! The InnoTab comes pre-loaded with 20 games so once you’ve gone through the Learning Lodge, it is ready to play! The 180 degree rotating camera is very fun to play with and he enjoys taking photos of himself. He giggles hysterically – I love watching him learn!
We fly frequently and I recently took the InnoTab 3S with us on one of our 2 hour flights to visit family. My son watched an episode of Fireman Sam (just a $2.99 download from VTech’s Learning Lodge), colored with the Color Pop game on the cartridge provided, played the games, “read” along with a book, dropped it on the floor 13 times, dragged it by the stylus (attached to a cord that ties onto the tablet itself) and the tablet still looks and performs like brand new and he had fun all while learning!
All for under $100, the InnoTab 3S can be your child’s own tablet, saving your expensive one from potential damage. Toddlers are destructive, people – even the best behaved ones. That’s how they learn! The InnoTab 3S will also grow with my child, because there is simply SO much to explore!

There is so much to love about the Innotab, children have access to sites approved by the parent. It provides hands on learning, encourages small motor skills such as eye hand coordination and the games and camera encourage lots of play and fun!
