While at BlogHer 2011, I had the opportunity to participate in a makeover by Mom’s Fashion File.
That’s all for another post, because today I’ve got some really great uses for Johnson’s Baby Powder and Johnson’s Baby Oil!
Johnson’s Baby was a sponsor of the Secret Style Makeovers and provided all of the makeup and celebrity makeup artist Tia Dantzler!
We were also provided with full-size bottles of Johnson’s Baby Powder, Baby Oil and Baby Oil Gel with Aloe and Baby Oil with Shea and Cocoa Butter!
With the gift bag of products, there were some tips and uses for Johnson’s Baby Oil and Baby Powder that I never would have thought of! I would love to share them with you!
Johnson’s Baby Powder
It’s a great dry shampoo!
Sprinkle on your palms and run through your hair to absorb the oils and give your style a lift.
It can be used as a deodorant!
It helps wipe away sweat and leave your body feeling refreshed.
It makes lashes look longer and fuller!
Just dust on eyelashes before applying mascara.
Johnson’s Baby Oil
It can be used as eye makeup remover!
Pour baby oil onto a cotton ball and swipe; the makeup will come off easily.
Use for at-home manicures and pedicures!
Just add a dab to cuticles to make it easier to push them back.
Extend the life of bottles of perfume!
Add a little bit of unscented Baby Oil to get every last drop of perfume!
Did you know about these tips from Johnson and Johnson? Do you have any other tips you would like to share?
Disclosure: I was provided with full-size bottles of Johnson’s Baby Products, courtesy of Johnson and Moms Fashion Files. I was not required to write about the products, but just thought these tips were too fun! All thoughts and opinions are my own!

Baby powder is great for getting sand off, for instance after a trip to the beach.
Sprinkle on and then wipe away! Much easier than a towel or trying to wash it off!

I’ve used baby oil to shave my legs with for years. Just rub a little on in the shower and shave, my legs stay super moisturized, and I don’t have to worry about putting lotion on afterwards. Heading along the lines of deodorant with the baby powder, I sprinkle it in everyone’s shoes to keep them from smelling and it helps absorb some of the summer sweat.

Baby oil can also be used to keep your chrome fixtures shiny.
