Earlier this year, I posted about how delicious International Delight‘s Iced Coffee was! I set up my own little coffee house complete with scones and International Delight’s Iced Coffee that tasted just like our local coffee house’s amazing iced brew!
International Delight has a new version! And a little while ago we received a shipment of the two of the three newest flavors. They come in Vanilla, Mocha and Hazelnut. They are a NEW Light Version of the delicious International Delight Light Iced Coffee!
What is so amazing about this new Iced Coffee is that it is just as creamy and scrumptious as the original variety. But it has less sugar and calories, and isn’t that what we are all going for these days? That, and also saving money. Check out the widget at the sidebar of the blog that shows just how much money I have saved drinking the new light International Delight Iced Coffee since the 22nd of December!
I really like having the Mocha flavor in the morning. It is the perfect substitute for my usual coffee house Mocha that cost just a little over $4 for a grande! This International Delight Iced Coffee is the perfect “pick me up” to start my day. Every Thursday my friends get together for a little coffee date when the kids are at school or preschool. The Mocha has been our favorite, and no one even notices that this version is 1/3 fewer calories!
This last early morning “mommy coffee date” we decided to get a little fancy and make Frappes! We had peppermint candy canes left over from the holiday, so we decided to make use of them too! We used the delicious Iced Coffee Frappe recipe from the International Delight Facebook page:
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup International Delight Vanilla Iced Coffee
- 1/2 Cup Ice
- I Cup Vanilla Ice cream
- 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Candy Cane
Instead of going to pricey coffee houses for our weekly coffee dates, we will be getting creative with International Delight Iced Coffee and definitely in the Light Version! Next week, we decided on splurging on Oreo Frappes!
International Delight Light Iced Coffee will be available at Walmart beginning on January 21st.

This looks pretty tasty. International Delights is one of the few things that make me drink coffee so a light version would be great 🙂
I have been wanting to try it for the longest time! And now I am determined at my next trip to the grocery store because it looks and sounds sooo delicious!!
I am so excited about trying this soon–thanks for the coupon for it–I really like the idea of making it into a desert coffee drink–yumm——thanks
Thanks for the recipe and the link to the coupon. My wife is a big fan of peppermint mochas, so we’ll have to give this a try.
Great recipe — as a mom, it’s always fun to indulge in a special treat without having to leave the house or spend a lot of money.
Oh man, I love that they came out with a lighter version. I love iced coffee, but I don’t like paying $4/cup at Starbucks!
I would like to try it! Thank you for the review!
Those are very cute drinks you made. I happen to have some candy canes, too! Thank you.
I am so glad that they made a lighter version of this drink. I like the regular version, I had some last summer, but I do not like all the calories and this has a lot less. I am going to try this version with less calories!
