When Hayden was born the days and nights were such a blur for me.
I was nursing and was totally new to it of course.
Heath and I started off with a handout from the hospital where I would keep track of which side I left off on when nursing.
Hayden nursed a lot so I would quickly fill up that piece of paper and graduate to a notebook. Heath and I would blindly make notes in the middle of the night writing down things like “Left Breast, 3:22 am”.
I also tried to keep track of his diapers and how often he was going, what he was doing and when. When I would meet with his pediatrician his doctor wanted to know.
I so wish that I would have had the Similac Strong Moms Baby Journal back then!
It’s a whole lot easier than taking a bunch on notes in a notebook! I will definitely be using this for Baby #2!
This App is amazing. You can track your baby’s feeding, sleeping, diaper changes and growth right on your iPhone!
When you first open the app you can add all of your child’s information and choose between breast or bottle feeding.
If you chose breastfeeding you can keep track of what breast you started on, how long you nursed for and if you nursed on both sides or not.
When bottle feeding you can keep track of how many ounces you have fed your baby and at what time.
Easily keep track of your baby’s diapers! You can make a note when your baby went, what they did and even the color and consistency of your baby’s poop! 😉
Need tips and advice on feeding, diaper changes, nursing and more? There are sections where you can read facts and even tips from real Moms and Dads!
When you open the App you can easily get a Snapshot of how many hours it has been since the last time you fed your baby, how much sleep they have gotten and how many diapers they had that day.
I highly recommend downloading this app if you have a newborn or baby that is nursing or being bottle fed.
The Similac Strong Moms Baby Journal App is available to download in the iTunes App Store or you can head to Similac to read more and download from there!
Disclosure: I was compensated by Collective Bias – a Similac partner – for my time to review the Similac Baby Journal App. All opinions are 100% mine!

I think journal apps like these are very helpful to pediatricians in terms of making it easy for them to diagnose baby’s health. Knowing what the baby eat, when they eat, etc will help them quickly diagnose your baby’s health.
Have you checked out the Baby Zoe iphone app. It does similar things too. https://www.babyzoehealth.com
