This can be the root of allergies and other respiratory problems – preventing you to have that peaceful sleep.
Besides, old mattresses also aren’t as firm as they were before. It will sag in some areas that should be supporting your body alignment. Expect your body to feel pain all over when you’re using an old mattress. It no longer provides the support that you need, and you would be constantly changing positions during sleep. So much for quality sleep.
Don’t expect your mattress to be serviceable forever. They also need to retire. One of the reasons why people are reluctant in replacing them because they are so bulky to replace. Get a mattress in a box. Big item in a smaller package.

Your addicted to your gadgets. – When you are already tucked up in your bed, the lights are already out but most likely you are still scrolling down on your phone. This is a common habit a lot of people share nowadays.
That few minutes of gadget time will most likely turn into hours – not really surprising. The internet is inexhaustible and there’s one more thing that’s keeping you awake. Your electronic devices emit a blue light which suppresses the release of melatonin.
Melatonin is a hormone that regulates our sleep. It tells us when to sleep and when to wake up. Melatonin production peaks at night but how can this be possible when you have been soaked in blue light from your gadgets? That means it would be more difficult for you to sleep.
Technology isn’t all that bad but just regulate your screen time. Try to limit your exposure hours leading to your bed time.
Your caffeine consumption. – There are some people who can’t live without coffee – we get you. Coffee is awesome we won’t argue on that. It also has its benefits, but you also have to mind your consumption.
Coffee contains caffeine which is a stimulant that can make you stay wide awake even if it’s time for bed already. Take note, caffeine isn’t just found in coffee so be mindful of the food and drinks that you consume.
We’re not saying to give up that coffee – lessen your consumption and try to avoid it right before sleeping.
