We are headed into the winter months and it can get really dry in our house once we turn on the heat {which we have already had to do!}. While I love the fall and winter months, the one thing I DON’T love is the dry skin that comes with it. I’m not the only one that has dry skin, but my kids do also! My twins are only 8 months old and they are already starting to get dry skin. When they were born in February, they had such bad dry skin and I was applying lotion to them several times a day. I am hoping that it won’t be happening again this winter season and I know it won’t, thanks to JOHNSON’S Baby Intense Moisture Cream!
When you have twins, you have to keep a routine. So we have a very strict bedtime routine where our girls are in bed by 6:30pm each night. I know some people might think we are nuts for having them go to bed at the same time each night and that we don’t seem to venture out at night anymore, but it works for us and the girls are happy! Plus, they are sleeping! So before bedtime, we have a very specific routine of bath, book and bottle. Since Olivia is wearing a helmet for plagiocephaly, she also has to have a bath every night to clean her hair. When you give babies a lot of baths, their skin can get dry very quickly. With a baby’s skin being 10 times more sensitive than an adult’s, it’s so important to keep them moisturized!
The last few weeks we have been putting on JOHNSON’S Baby Intense Moisture Cream right before bed and that’s it. No reapplying in the morning or mid-day. Just once a day because it’s been clinically proven to seal in moisture for 24 hours! Each morning my girls wake up and I kiss their little bellies and faces and it’s soft and smooth with not a hint of dry skin! I actually have never really been a fan of lotions the last few years because after my pregnancy with my son, I became really sensitive to smells. I am about to give birth to my first child and I would love nothing more than to be prepared with the best stuff to protect his or her skin from the harsh MN winter air.
We are working on baby number two, and with baby one she had eczema very badly. I think this will help with a newborn.
With a new baby on the way, we have been picking up some more lotions. I know I don’t lotion enough and fight dry skin in the fall and winter months but I don’t want the little one to suffer the same!
My 2 youngest children have very dry skin and this may help, especially with winter months where skin get so chapped.

Johnson baby cream is a product i love so much, my niece used it, shes grown now but she still look fresh.

I love Johnson and Johnsons products. I used them exclusively when my kids were younger. My daughter has skin issues so this is good for her even though she isn’t a baby anymore.
