I have always been a trusting person, not believing that people would or could steal from me. Unfortunately, while in college, I left my backpack outside the bathroom in between classes. I was gone for a few minutes, but when I came back, my wallet had been emptied out. As a poor college student, I was devastated that someone felt the need to take the $14.89 that I had reserved for my late night pizza snack. This was the first time that I was disappointed with society. When I saw the Master Lock No. 5900D SafeSpace Portable Personal Safe, I transported back to that moment and realized that if I had one of these, my snack money would have been safeguarded.
I was very impressed with the look of the packaging and the design of the Personal Safe. As I opened the box and got to experience the many features of the safe, I kept calling my husband over to look and we were saying “how cool!” It has a combination lock on the outside, that is covered by a flap of rubber to protect it. There is a very sturdy bike chain that wraps around it for safe keeping. You can detach one side so that it can be wrapped around things, like park benches, bed posts, or any other immovable object that you can imagine! Inside, the case is padded for ultimate protection. My favorite feature is the little slits in the sides of the safe, where you can run chords inside to charge your phone or mp3 player. On top of all these features, you get a lifetime warranty on the safe, in case anything breaks!
While thinking about how this safe could be used, I found myself listing many different situations that the Personal Safe would be a necessity. When I go to a kickboxing or yoga class, I usually find myself staring at my keys the entire time, afraid someone is going to swipe them and steal my car. With the Personal Safe, I can lock my keys inside and attach it to a pipe or weight rack. My mind is now ready to focus on my fitness endeavors! Whenever my family goes to a hotel, we are always afraid to use the safes provided because we never remember the combination or fear that the staff will open it and take our items. With this product, we can attach it to any part of the hotel room and not worry! And finally, as a busy mom, I find myself loading up the car with everything that I need to finish my to-do list for the day: bank, groceries, mall, gas, get plates for the car, the list goes on and on! I end up having to take my wallet, any financial papers, all my checks that I need to cash everywhere I go, afraid to leave them in the car. With the Personal Safe, I can leave these items in the car, attached to the bar under my seat, and not be afraid that someone will smash a window and steal them!
I do believe that as a whole, society is honest, but I know that people can surprise you. I want to be prepared for anything, so by using the Master Lock No. 5900D SafeSpace Portable Personal Safe I have the peace of mind that I deserve!
