The sports flip stool is incredibly sturdy, easily holding my kindergartner-sized child for standing or sitting. It is five and a half inches off the ground which is the perfect height for our boys, tall enough to give them a boost to wash their hands in the sink, but not so high that it will make it a lot easier for them to climb up on the counter and cause trouble. It is small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of space, but big enough to be useful.
Although the flip stool is very sturdy, it is so lightweight that even my small two year old can carry it. Both my boys love sitting on it as a chair, and it is light enough that they can carry it back and forth from the bathroom to wash hands to our living room to watch tv. I absolutely love that it has the option to have the back up to use as a chair or it easily folds down to be used as a stool.
