We all have that one girl in the family that is at the age were they are getting “too big” for toys, but still aren’t “big enough” for preteen items. My daughter, Cecelia is right on the cuff of this age, but thankfully she really enjoys clothes. She is an extremely active girl who is always playing outside or is in the gym for gymnastics so when I had the opportunity to review on of Limeapple’s amazing packs, I jumped for the opportunity to grab the Jingle Pack which is their activewear pack.
The pack came with four pieces in addition to two headbands. The headbands are awesome for when Cecelia is at gymnastics because they have the rubber-type grips underneath and will keep in place during her three hour practices.
Along with the headbands, Cecelia’s favorite item is the sports bra in the pack. Now, I know you’re thinking why in the heck does a 6/7/8 year old need a sports bra? Well, they’re perfect for when her shirts or leotards are just a tad bit too big! And she LOVES to wear them to bed with some comfy PJ pants.
The other items in the pack were the bubble coat the ruffle jacket and full length leggings. The bubble coat is perfect for chilly days and evenings and even has the thumb cutouts that every little girl loves. The ruffle jacket Cecelia wears for her warmups at gymnastics. Usually she walks into a chilly gym and the nylon material keeps her comfortable until her warmup is complete. But, while it’s perfect for keeping her warm, its also super cute with its ruffles and bright colors.
The leggings in the pack she wasn’t a huge fan of. They were a little long in the legs and big in the waist. However, I have faith once she grows a little taller and fills out a bit more, they will be much more comfortable on her.
