With Valentine’s Day approaching, I’m starting to feel romantic. With 3 kids {and two of them being 11 month old twins!} it’s not always easy to find some alone time with my husband to reconnect. But there is no one else who I’d rather go through life with.

Heath and I met almost 12 years ago when we worked at Target together. I always felt that it was meant to be since I DID NOT want to work for Target but my Mom did and encouraged me to apply. I’ll always be thankful for Target since it’s where I meant the love of my life. After being together for 3 years, we took a trip to Florida for our anniversary. We had planned a fun-filled week at Walt Disney World, but for our actual anniversary we decided to drive to Clearwater Beach. As the sun set, Heath proposed to me. Can you get any more romantic?!

A year later, we were married. Sometimes I can hardly believe that we have been together for almost 12 years and married for almost 8 years. We have been through so much – new jobs, a new home, ups, downs and of course, the births of our three gorgeous children.

Heath is a perfect partner and complements me in every way – as crazy as I am, he’s calm. He makes me laugh and is such a wonderful father too. We love to get silly together, travel and just lounge on the couch and catch up on our favorite television shows. Best of all, he supports me with all of my wild ideas too.

With Valentine’s Day only two weeks away, I definitely want to make sure that we get a date night out to celebrate being together. Since we are always looking to save money, I’ll definitely be looking for Valentine’s Day Deals – I’m all about saving money but still having lots of fun!
