This is a sponsored post on behalf of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Even before we had kids and we were just dreaming of them, I always had this vision in my head of lazy weekends where the kids get in bed with us while they watch Saturday morning cartoons and cuddle. After that, we have a delicious breakfast and off to do something fun during the day like the park or the zoo.
With 2 year old twins and a 7 year old, most weekends are hectic and definitely NOT like that. Sometimes the kids are up at 6am and whining, there’s no coffee for us, the house is immediately destroyed and so on. But then there are those magical days where the kids crawl into bed with us and cuddle while we switch on cartoons and talk about what we are going to do that day.
For those picture-perfect weekend mornings and NOT SO picture-perfect mornings, there is one way to make any morning immediately special – Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls!
Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls can make a day even more special or turn a bad morning great! When I get these out of the fridge, my kids immediately get excited and beg to help put it on a pan. I love watching their tiny faces in such concentration as they do it.
While the girls love to put the cinnamon rolls on the pan, their favorite part comes after they are baked. They love to drizzle the icing on them although sometimes more gets on their hands and in their mouth instead of the actual roll! My kids love being so involved in the kitchen with making breakfast and Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls make it easy for the kids to do it themselves.
Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls are the weekend breakfast your kids want to eat -and okay, you too! My husband definitely does’t complain when we make these on weekends because it reminds us of our own childhood, too. I love that we are making these special memories with our kids.
Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls are available nationwide in major grocery and retail stores. For more information, visit www.pillsbury.com/weekendbreakfast, facebook.com/pillsbury and @Pillsbury on Instagram and Twitter.
