It’s spring! But that also means spring showers, and with the weather not being very warm, we need as many fun indoor activities as possible! This one was easy and the kids kept themselves busy making up a puppet show and performing it for us!
All we used were: a kids magazine with lots of animal pictures, scissors, tape and popsicle sticks. We had our two year old spot the animals in the magazine, the six year old cut them out and the 4 year old got to tape the popsicle sticks to the back. Everyone had their own job!
And then the puppet shows began! They were priceless! Not so much dialogue but plenty of animal sounds!
Such a great idea for the little ones 🙂
I wish mine were still little, I find so many crafts that I would love to do with them, but they’re big now and not interested in anything I have to say LOL
I love this idea! Maggie is obsessed with puppets all of a sudden – this is a great way to do it on the cheap 🙂
what a great craft idea for the kids! we will def be doing this!
Reminds me of when we would cut out pictures from our Encyclopedia! We had like 3 full sets,so my mom finally gave in and let us use one for projects. This is a great activity because it lets your kids use their imagination and be creative with crafts.
What a cute, cheap, easy, and fun idea! My daughter would love this!!
i think my daughter would love it but the cut outs are kind of scary! lol
we used to make sock puppets when i was a kid and play with those. this is a great idea as well and don’t have to ruin any socks.
really cute idea
