I’m kind of “off my game” this year. Each event is sneaking up on me and I feel I don’t have time for anything! Next thing around the corner is Halloween! Every year I like to give our neighborhood kids something special. My kids get a kick out of delivering these extra fun treats before it’s even dark out and the trick or treating starts! In years passed we gave each kid a big candy bar, but I’m not sure their parents really appreciated that one when you add it to the rest of the loot they bring home. So I needed something fun, fast and budget friendly! And we are putting temporary tattoos and stickers in them instead of candy!
I just used scraps of paper, Glue Dots Ultra-Thin Dots® (they don’t cause bumps under the paper!), and googly eyes left over from a craft I did with the kids.
I used my Epic Letterpress to cut out the little bags with their very versatile Gift Bag die. It’s just the perfect size too! Assembled the gift bags turn out to be 4.25″x2.375″x1″.
Cutting out the little bat wings, jack-o-lantern face and other embellishments just took a few minutes.
Now when my daughter’s teacher needs classroom Halloween party favors for the little goblins, I can volunteer for the job!
cute!
Hello, I will like to know where did you buy those bags?
