Review: Mamas & Papas Baby Bud Booster Seat

With twin infants and a toddler, someone always needs a boost at a table. The Mamas & Papas Baby Bud Booster Seat can give a child 6 months to 3 years a safe, comfortable, clean and well-designed eating experience.

Both my husband’s family and my own live in Indiana, a thousand miles from Texas. It makes traveling to see family a fairly stressful experience because even the *most* geared-out grandparent can’t fully be prepared for my brood. I received the Baby Bud and two days later made a last minute decision to throw it in my packed luggage – yes, it fit in a standard large piece of luggage! – and fly it to Indiana. I am still in disbelief it traveled so well, it fit great! I installed it on my mom’s wooden kitchen chair, and we were ready to go! I daresay Selah loved it and it seemed way more comfortable than our high-end, full-size high chairs we have at home.

The straps are ingeniously designed. There is a slim piece of plastic on each strap to eliminate that sloppy dangly overhang that ALWAYS get chewed on by crawling infants. I love the clean design. The tray slides on simple and is locked in place by two push down buttons, one on each side. Again, ingenious. I was able to do it one-handed and it was SO easy to clean!

The Baby Bud can be used in place of a high chair for everyday use and goes from 6 months to 3 years. Given that longevity, it is truly an amazing deal.
