I’m so excited to share a new weekly vlog series that I have started with Emily from Our Knight Life and Lolo from Crazy About My Baybah! We will be sharing in our videos a different topic each week- everything from motherhood, beauty tips, summer activities and more! Last week, our first video was right after Mother’s Day so we focused on being a Mom. This week’s topic is all about books!
Check out the video below where I share what books that my kids and I are reading. There’s even a fun special guest star that pops in to talk about his favorite video!
Let me know in the comments what YOU or your kids or reading now! Also, let me know what topic you’d like to see featured in an upcoming MOMent!
Eric Carle is one of my favorites too Hayden! I am a huge fan of his artwork!
Love your new series! We love Eric Carle too, but haven’t seen the busy spider book yet.
The spider book is a family fave. We actually don’t live far from the Eric Carle museum and need to go this summer.
We also love the Llama Llama books.
I loved The Fault in Our Stars! Such a good book. I thought the ending was a bit anti-climatic BUT it was a great read nonethless.
This sounds like a lot of fun reads. Great video
I don’t read, but my kids do. I think the oldest is reading a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book and the little one reads age appropriate books.
These look like fun reads! I will put it on my summer list.
Dr. Seuss and anything with animals. Dinosaurs, reptiles, creepy crawlers, yes I have a boy!
Oh I love this! I will have to be sure to keep watching! I don’t read nearly as much as I’d like and when I do its usually kids books. Mostly whatever they bring home for the week or get me to read with them from our collection. Muncsh is a huge fave here!
I’m a huge fan of reading, right now reading Run by Ann Patchett.
We are all HUGE readers in my house. We hit up the library at least once a week to restock our pile. I cant’ wait until summer so I can start the kids off reading some new (and very old) stuff. Thanks for sharing!
I’m actually reading Heidi to my oldest and my little toddler comes in to listen in too. I read different books to him throughout the day. Great books, I’ll have to look for that Twinkle Twinkle book, looks cute. Great Vlog!
What i’ve been reading lately is BLOGS! My first gen nook is about to die on me, but I’ve also got a friend’s new book on that, too.
Right now, I’m reading Storm of Swords, and slowly making my way through the A Song of Ice and Fire book series. Game ot Thrones is an amazing show, but the books give you a TON more information.
My kids love ALL the books! Seriously, all of them. Me on the other hand, I need to take some me time and pick up a book!
While I loved your topic, I’m super impressed with your wonderful vlogging skills!
My boys had that touch and feel book, too! Currently, my youngest is reading Pete the Cat books, my middle is reading the books on his leveled school website, and my oldest is reading one of the Harry Potter books. I’m rereading The Fault in Our Stars. You’ll love The Book Thief! Don’t give up on it, it’s worth it.
My son is fixated right now on Thomas the Tank books and some Dinosaur Train. He loves those characters.
Such a cute video! My girls love the touchy feel books too! I’d like to see a fashion topic featured, maybe Summer dresses/outfits for moms.
Such a cute video. I wish I was as innovative as you are with this whole media thing.
I’m not reading anything right now. I have a ton of 1/2 read books and lots on my reading list.
I just finished reading Iris Johansen’s newest book, Live to See Tomorrow. My older son is reading, Harry Potter book 5. My younger son loves the Llama, Llama series and anything Bubble Guppies.
My daughter is loving any type of Curious George book at the moment. I am on a reading binge too! Loving books by Cecilia Ahern.
Well let’s see….my husband is reading a fantasy series in the vein of Game of Thrones, my kids are reading Judy Moody and fact books, and I am in between stories having just finished my book. We read a lot in our house…there is nothing like a good book.
I love the video! We read anything and everything. My son just grabs one and we read!
I need to vlog more. Go you for doing that! I need to start reading more often.
Love the vlog, you are so natural on camera! I love reading and just picked up a few books to bring on my vacation next week.
Love the vlog. My daughter is reading “The Fault In Our Stars” My son “Divergent” and I am reading “Blog Inc”
Sounds like you guys started quite the fun new weekly series! Sometimes blogging just won’t do so that’s when you break out the video camera and show the world who’s BEHIND the blog 🙂
I’m currently reading a few books about woman and their reproductive health. I’m determined to help myself without having to rely on doctors or drugs!
I am currently reading a Chuck Palahniuk book. He is the author of Fight Club. I love his writing style. My kids are still pig into story books- current favorite is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
I love The Very Busy Spider too! Eric Carle is the best!
PS. Your hair is so long now!
My son is 11 and we still read together every night. It’s my fave time of day!
I am reading a book on kindle now. I can’t recall the name of the book…but it’s by Candace Cameron.
My son is actually getting a little tired of his books so he and i are headed out tomorrow to grab a few new books for summer. He loves anything about sharks!
We’re actually reading Eric Carle’s the Very Busy Spider. Just got if from the library. Anything with Elmo works for my daughter and anything with Ninja Turtles, Lions or Dinosaurs works for my son.
Love this vlog concept. Eric Carle is one of our favorites too.
I’m reading a Melissa Foster. My son is reading a Fault in our Stars. Sniff!
We are going out this weekend for new summer books. Not sure if I’ll buy them or go to the Library. It’s gonna be a Summer of reading for us all.
I think this is such a great idea. Reading is slowly dying away in most homes.
sounds like fun. i will definitely check it out.
Sadly I am not reading anything yet. I need to download some books.
