My Holiday Home Decor from Dollar General

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and I love to make sure I decorate my house to feel like it! With the colder weather and shorter days, I love spending my days and evenings cozied up in my living room with my kids watching Christmas movies. I love looking around my living room and seeing it all decorated for the holidays. This year, I decided to add to my Christmas home decor collection by shopping at Dollar General. I popped in to Dollar General over Thanksgiving weekend to pick up all of the holiday home decor that I needed – okay, wanted! Right now is the best time to go because they have such a great selection to choose from! I was able to totally add some festive decorations to my living room for less thanks to Dollar General. They have everything you will need to decorate your house from stockings and baskets to cozy throws and adorable decor.

With a set budget that I gave myself of $35, I was able to buy SO much more. I came home with 4 bags of goodies and set to work adding them to my living room.

A Doormat and jingle bells for our front door, a cozy throw for my kids, a rustic vase filled with flowers and adorable metal decor for my fireplace. The snowman and Santa Claus? They have a tealight attached to the bottom so they light up – I LOVE them! I got over 10 Christmas decor items (including the flowers) for my house for only $35 – I consider that my big win for the holiday season!
