Next month, we are headed to the beach and I can’t wait! The last time we went, the girls were only 4 months old so we didn’t spend that much time on the actual beach. Instead, my husband and I would take turns bringing Hayden down to the beach while the other stayed behind. This time, Olivia and Evie will be 2 years old and Hayden will be 7 and I know they are going to have a blast at the beach, especially since we are just a short walk away. I know this is going to be a different kind of trip, so I’ve been making list after list of things that we will need when we get there.
Here’s what I have so far and I’m hoping I haven’t forget any must-haves! Make sure to let me know in the comments what you always bring to the beach with kids!
– Beach Tote – any good recommendations?
– Sunscreen
– Beach Hats
– Swimsuits {Check out the swimsuits I got for my 2 year old twin girls and my 7 year old son!}
– Sunglasses
– Sand toys {I love that these come with a mesh bag to carry them in} – and a shovel for EACH kid
– Beach Towels
– Beach Clips {Are these a must?!}
– Pacific Play Seaside Beach Cabana Tent {I’m hoping this this will be a cool{er} place for the kids to cool off or eat lunch while at the beach.}
– Wheeled Cooler
– Beach/Picnic Blanket
– Bottled Water
– Snacks
– Ziploc Bags
– Swim Diapers and Wipes
– First Aid Kit
– Baby Powder {I’ve read this will help get sand off easier!}
– Puddle Jumpers { I haven’t used them before but am hearing they are awesome? Are they better than life jackets?}

I know I’ve got to be forgetting something….what do you bring to the beach with kids?
Disclosure: I received a gift card from Kohl’s to help facilitate my post but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

The one thing I was going to suggest was baby powder, but you had it on there! It really does work! Especially with damp sand that clings to hands and feet. It’s a miracle worker.

I love going to the beach!! This is a great packing list I always tend to bring an extra sunscreen cause we go thru so much.

Great list, I always feel like I am missing something. Thankfully there is a Walgreens and Publix 2 minutes from our favorite beach that I can run to in case of an emergency.

Great list! My kids are older so we always bring boogie boards, and a bag for collecting shells too.
