I’ve been working out a lot more lately and I love pushing my girls in their double stroller for walks but I’m nowhere near running with them yet. But if you like to run with your little ones while they are in their stroller, then there is a day just for you coming up! National Stroller Running Day is on November 8th and it was created by fellow St. Louis blogger Katie of Mom’s Little Running Buddy. I got the chance to finally meet Katie last month and she is so sweet – and incredibly fit! She’s the perfect person to introduce this day to all the parents who like to get fit with their strollers!
On November 8th, people all over are invited to celebrate National Stroller Running Day. There are many ways for you to get involved:
- Head over to RunStrollerRun and find a stroller friendly race in your area! Sign up and enjoy with your little running buddies.
- Set out on your own, push, pull, walk or run with your little ones.
- Organize a local run and get together with your local community of runners. You could also encourage everyone to bring a pack of diapers to donate to a charity of choice.
- Sign up to participate in the next Moms-in-Training program in your area.
While you’re out participating on November 8th, make sure to use the hashtag #StrollerRun14 on social media. If you’re in St. Louis, meet up with Katie at the Forest Park Visitor Center at 9am to run a short 2 miles with your stroller! She will even have a BOB double stroller for you to test drive!
Want to win an awesome prize pack that includes a Single or Double BOB Pro Stroller, New Balance shoes and more? Head over to Mom’s Little Running Buddy to enter!

This is cool and such great motivation to get out and get moving! I love the idea of running with other moms, that will really hold me accountable!
I am always surpriised to see how many more Moms are running with strollers- and wonder how hard they are to push. I would be wwoorn out pushing one uphill but be hanging on for dear life going downhill 🙂
