The holidays are quickly approaching and it’s the time to celebrate with friends and family. This year, I want to share with my son the importance of giving to others.

Nautica will donate $5,000 to charity: water to fund a project that will provide clean drinking water for a community.
Charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Charity: water uses 100 percent of public donations to directly fund sustainable water solutions in areas of greatest need.
There are almost one billion people on the planet without access to clean drinking water. Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.
By joining the Photo Project, you can send “well” wishes to a community in need.

Simply head to Nautica’s Facebook page and upload a picture of your family wearing Nautica. In the photo caption, make sure to let them know how your family gives back during the holidays.

We donate to charities
My family donates food to the local food pantry for their Thanksgiving baskets.
In the past we would buy a gift for a child and for a senior, donate to a food drive or two and to a toy drive, give to the Salvation Army Bell RIngers and sponsor at church.

We participate in a Thanksgiving drive through my work and my girls’ Girl Scout troops have put together care packages for the homeless.

We donate non perishable items and canned food to mny food drives in our town .
We also add gloves to the Banks tree for their Giving Hands Drive.

We tithe year round to our church
Feel like this would be a great Christmas gift for my sister, it’s tough for her to focus on spending money on clothes for herself with 3 kids!
We give back by donating toys at the grocery store – they always have a toy drive!
My boys make crafts, then we take them to the nursing home to pass out to the residents.
We like to go out and buy lots of nice, warm clothing and donate them to children! Thanks for doing this giveaway!
We give things away, we usually do shoebox gifts, and we pray (of course we always do that!)

my family collects canned goods for our salvation army.Plus when I find bargains with coupons I donate that too.
