New Year, New Beard with the Philips Norelco Shaver 9700

In a world that is all about high tech and doing things at the speed of light, we want things that will make out life easier and allow us more time for the important things. Am I right?  So it can be a pain to take the time out to shave. In my wife Cassie’s opinion, there isn’t nothing better than a smooth clean shave. She is not into that hipster crazy of the beard. So when I had the chance to try out the Philips Norelco Shaver 9700, I was skeptical and curious. Can an electric shaver give me the smooth as a baby’s butt face that my wife likes and be quicker than traditional shaving?

UM, YES!!

This is not your daddy’s shaver. Philips Norelco has really step up their game with this electric shaver. When I first got married I got an electric razor as a gift. Now I have to say that was over 10 years ago and I do not remember the brand. But I do know that I hated it! It would pull my hair when I used it. The Norelco Shaver 9700 does not pull your hair, but the key is to not allow more than a day or two between shaves.

When comparing to a basic razor, the Philips Norelco Shaver 9700 does a great job in comparison. I shaved half my face then asked Cassie which side was the razor and which was the Norelco Shaver by touch she could not tell. The only thing that gave it way is that I tend to nick myself so she knew which side was which.

This is one electric shaver I will keep using on a regular basis. It was quick and easy for me to use in the mornings before going to work and better yet super-fast for a touch up shave before a date night. But don’t worry if you have a hipster beard because there is a beard trimmer head accessory as well. This is the perfect thing for the guy in your life who is also a techy guy! For a new year, you need this for a new you!
