Supplies needed:
Green t-shirt (we found ours at Dollar Tree for just $1)
White, black felt
Scissors
Fabric glue
1. Begin by cutting out the “spikes” that your dinosaur will wear. If you want, you can look up pictures of dinosaurs first to get an idea of what the shape is like. You can trace a pattern if you wish, or just cut out simple triangles from the felt.
2. Add some fabric glue to the flat end of your spike. Press it to the back of the t-shirt, right along the spine of the shirt. Add as many as you wish or that will fit.
3. While the spikes dry, you can decorate the front of the shirt. You can craft some simple circles for eyes (two large white, 2 small black) and two small black dots for nostrils. Add glue and apply to the front of the shirt.
Your no sew dinosaur shirt is now complete. Your child will love wearing it and showing it off! Now, let’s hear your roar!
This is such a cute idea. I really love easy myself as well. My grandson would really like this shirt.
I like your cute idea and it really turned out great. I think my son would love for me to make this shirt!
I love this idea especially because I suck at sewing.
Can you show a photo of how you did the front of the shirt? Thanks. I am too visual!
Do the spikes actually stand up?
