Friday’s are going to be my day to blog about the Nutrisystem and report my weight loss also!
You can also check in with Heath over at OurKidsMom and Heather at Living on Love and Cents to follow their journey too! They will be blogging every Friday also!
I officially started on Sunday, so it has been 5 days.
I am feeling SO GOOD!
I have a lot more energy and I have not been hungry at all! When I am I just fill up on veggies and lots of water. I have been making sure to drink more than 64 oz of water a day.
I know that I am addicted to soda and I thought there was no way I could give it up. I haven’t given it up but since I am drinking so much water I am not drinking as much soda as I normally would.
There have been only a few items that I wasn’t crazy about (Chocolate Chip Scone–sorry Heather!) but I just know not to order it again!
I am in LOVE with the pizza! I had it last night for dinner and added some onion, green peppers and pineapple to it and it was so delicious!
For breakfast I have been having a muffin or Cinnamon bun or scone with some scrambled eggs, green peppers, onions and mushrooms. It is so filling!
I feel like I am starting to know what the correct portions are and I love all the good food that I am snacking on.
So I’m sure you all want to know how much weight I am down for the week right?
6.4 pounds!
I am just so excited! I will weigh myself again on Sunday which is officially a week but I’m hoping it stays the same or goes even lower!
Next month I will be trying the Nutrisystem Select program which includes frozen food! I’m so excited about getting some ice cream!
I also wanted to share that November is Diabetes Awareness Month.
This month marks the first anniversary of the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) Stop Diabetes movement, in which Nutrisystem D (the weight loss program for type 2 diabetics) is a proud national sponsor of the movement. According to the ADA, within the past year, about 1.5 million Americans were newly diagnosed with diabetes and it now affects 24 million people in this country, with more than twice that number showing early signs of the disease. If present trends continue, one in three children born today will develop diabetes in their lifetimes. Take the right steps now to keep that from happening.
The ADA is raising awareness and researching ever improving means to diagnose, prevent, and manage diabetes. There are a number of factors that put a person at risk of developing type 2 diabetes and the good news is some of these can be addressed by simple lifestyle changes. For example, weight gain is one of the leading causes of diabetes. If you are overweight, losing just a little bit of weight – a 200 pound person losing 10 pounds, for example – is enough to help reduce your risk of developing diabetes. The future of diabetes is in all of our hands.
Please join Nutrisystem in the American Diabetes Association’s important movement to Stop Diabetes™. Go towww.stopdiabetes.com and take action today.
Thanks for everyone that is following my Nutrisystem journey and giving me words of encouragement! You have no idea how much it means to me!

Way to go, mama!!!!
I may have to try this, but I'll probably wait until I'm done breastfeeding Monkey Man. I had terrible luck with attempting to cut calories while breastfeeding Little Rocker, and I don't want to risk my supply tanking again.

Awesome results mama!
I have been apprehensive about Nutrisystems and other prepackaged diets due to me being so picky with food.
I look forward to hearing about your success with this diet!
