Teething was M-I-S-E-R-A-B-L-E for our kids. I’m not exaggerating. Our third baby, Kayte, had the hardest time teething. She went from a happy little three month old to a really sad 4 month old. We had the experience of helping two other kids through their teething years, but we weren’t prepared for anything like this. Hard to believe this is the same baby!
We tried everything from those rings that you put in the freezer to frozen fruit. Tylenol helped, but we definitely didn’t want to be giving it to her every day. We don’t put just anything in our kids. We really try to minimize the medication our children are given. One thing we really felt comfortable with is the ingredients from Orajel. As soon as the teeth started coming in we realized we needed to go from just wiping their gums to brushing those pearly whites. We have a little timer that we use to help them know how long to brush their teeth. It has really worked for us!

Gosh, it’s hard to believe, but I guess I’ve been using Orajel for 26 years! As long as I’ve had kids, I’ve always had it in the house. Gaby is 8 now but we still use it. She bit the inside of her mouth a few weeks ago and she used Orajel that helped a lot with the pain.
That’s a good idea! My kids have hurt their mouths a few times-one time my son scraped the top of his mouth with a straw. :/

My kids love to yell “can I stop brushing now?” They don’t even care if we say “no” they think it is a game to ask. It helps us to get them to brush longer for sure.

I think each of my kids teethed for two years! Once one was out of the stage, the next one would start. I’m glad we had Orajel in the house.
