Organizing Your House with the Brother P-Touch Labeler

A few weeks ago I showed you the mess that was my toddlers room and the twins room. Clothes and toys are scattered all about and it’s hard to know where things go. The twins are now set to arrive in less than a month so I really needed to kick myself into gear. I know that making sure everything has a place will help me keep my sanity in those first few crazy months (What am I saying?! Years!).

That’s why I was so excited to bust out my new Brother P-Touch PT-H100 Labeler!

One of the first things I decided to do was organize the twins dresser. With my son’s dresser, there have been too many times that my husband has helped to put away laundry and asked what goes in which drawer or him asking which drawer has the pajamas, again? This time, I’ve decided to make it all easy to organize from the very beginning.

The Brother P-Touch PT-100 Labeler is so easy to use! I didn’t even have to read the instructions to get started (even though I’m sure it’s recommended!) and I was on my way to making labels. I love that you can change the font and add a frame. These labels with flowers and hearts are perfect for their room!

Now, each drawer has a place and both my husband and I will know exactly where to put things away in their dresser!

Next, I decided to organize some of the bins in my son’s room and he was eager to help me make the labels! The labeler is so easy even a toddler can do it! He loves spelling words right now (especially his name!) so he was a big help in making the labels.

The labeler is even great for reminders! Stick them on the fridge, on your computer, anywhere! Something that I always forget to do is resize my pictures before uploading them to my blog. Not anymore!

The Brother P-Touch PT-H100 has definitely helped me get off to a great start of organizing in 2013! I can’t wait to tackle some other projects, like my pantry and basement! I’m also confident that this way of organizing and labeling everything will help my family keep things in its place!
