Summer is here and it sure can get hot in St. Louis. There’s a few days coming up where it will easily feel like it’s 100 degrees out, so I’m already planning on getting out of the house and to our local pool! Taking 3 kids to the pool can be a challenge, so it’s always best to have a well packed beach bag ahead of time!
Since I’m packing my bag for me, a preschooler and 2 babies, I make sure that I have a large bag paced with everything I’ll need while out for a fun day at the pool!
Beach Bag Essentials
– Beach Towels: Plenty of big, fluffy beach towels are a must for my bag. They are perfect to wrap around the kids to dry off on and also to spread out to sit and eat snacks on.
– Water Bottles: It’s important to stay hydrated when it’s hot out and especially when you are swimming since it can wear you out. I always bring partially frozen bottles of water for my son and I.
– Sunscreen: Sunscreen is a must for the whole family! We usually apply it at home before we even go outside and again several times while we are at the pool. I burn very easily so the whole family uses a 50+ SPF.
– Sunglasses: Sunglasses are another must-have for us while we are out in the sun. My son and I will usually swim with our sunglasses on.
– Sunhats: My son is past the age of wearing a hat while out by the pool but I make sure that my little girls wear them whenever we are going to be outside in the sun.
– Snacks: I don’t know about you but being outside in the sun all day makes me hungry! I always make sure to pack some snacks for my son and I plus bring a little money in case there is something we want from the snack bar.
– Huggies Little Swimmers: Huggies Little Swimmers have been our go-to swim pants for years now – first with my son and now with my daughters. If you have younger kids, then these are an essential item for your beach/pool bag!
We have been using Huggies Little Swimmers since my son was a little one! When we recently went on vacation to the beach, I didn’t even have to mention to my husband that we needed them. He picked them up from Target all on his own! I love how slim they are under swimsuits and they don’t get too bulky in the water. Plus, going to the bathroom at the pool or beach can be an ordeal and the tear away sides make changing so easy. The Disney characters on them are a fun bonus and my kids look so cute in them!
Save on Huggies Little Swimmers
Right now, you can head to your local Target to pick up Huggies Little Swimmers for a fantastic deal! There’s a $1.50 off coupon that you can print to save money on this essential summertime item.
With Huggies Little Swimmers, it helps to take the worrying out of swimming with your little one! You can relax and have fun knowing that your child is protected {and so is the pool!}.
What are some of your beach bag essentials? Do you use Huggies Little Swimmers?
Aw such cuties!! Looks like you have some great items in your bag!!!
Ah, your girls look so cute in those Little Swimmers! It’s hard enough for me to pack for toddlers, I can’t imagine packing for twins too – you are a supermama!
Your babies are so cute! I can’t imagine having twins! You are a supermama to take 3 kids to the pool :).
Great beach bag tips, they will come in handy for my next trip! And the coupon is always of good use
Your swim bag looks just like mine! And those babies are adorable.
Aww! How adorable! My swim bag includes a lot of those things, but my kids are a little old for the huggies. We used to use them though!
I remember those days! I used to LOVE Little Swimmers 🙂

Your twins are adorable!!! We use Huggies little swimmers all the time. Thanks for the coupon!
Even though I don’t have little kids I pretty much take all of the same things that you do to the beach with the exception of the Huggies. They are adorable though. They didn’t have little swimmers when my sons were young. Too bad.
OMG, you reminded me to check the target site for coupons!
thanks!
Mitch
wouldn’t dare take my toddler there without a Little Swimmer on because I know that it would ruin everyone’s time if he had an accident in the pool. They are such a life saver!
