What To Pack in Your Bag for a Blogging Conference

It’s April which means that conference season is officially upon us! Last weekend, I was able to attend Bloggy Boot Camp: St. Louis and it was a wonderful learning experience. There’s so many conferences to attend in 2014 like Mom 2.0, BlogHer and Type-A Parent. I’ve been attending blogging conferences since 2011 and I’ve learned that there are some definite must-haves that you’ll want to tote around in your bag all day.

The above picture shows just a few of my essentials for when I’m traveling to a blogging conference. A few things not pictured is a water bottle, a phone and tablet charger and some gum. You may be wondering why Kleenex is a must-have for your bag while traveling to a blogging conference but I’m here to tell you that it’s a MUST. At each conference I’ve been to, I’ve needed Kleenex while at the airport and on the plane, in my hotel room and at the conference.

It never fails to happen that whenever I visit a new city that my allergies will kick in full force. That’s why I always make sure to keep Kleenex on me for when the watery eyes and sneezes come on. The speakers are so amazingly inspirational or just know how to get real with you.
