We love to spoil our dog Zoey.
She’s a mixed lab (we don’t know what she’s mixed with!) and is 5 years old.
When I heard there was a website that makes personalized dog charms, I was so excited!
I am a huge fan of personalized items and a customized dog charm for Zoey’s dog collar is the perfect idea!
The website is called DogCollarCharms.com.
The fun idea for “Dog Collar Charms” was created by Sara Gold and Yogi, her Wheaten Terrier. One day, Sara infused a picture of her five sons into a glass charm. Although Sara loved the charm, she didn’t know what to do with it. As she looked at the charm, Yogi started barking at her. Minutes later, Yogi was wearing the first Dog Collar Charm!
Sara’s been working in glass art for years. But, as she will tell you, “Of all the charms I’ve ever made, these dog collar charms are my favorite. The idea that I can now offer personalized dog collar charms through the Internet is amazing.”
The website is so easy to use! You can literally design your charm in minutes!
There are three easy steps to making your dog collar charm!
The first thing you have to to is upload the picture that you want on your charm!
After your picture is uploaded, you are able to choose what border you want!
Since I was going with a baseball theme and I love the St. Louis Cardinals, I decided to go with a red border!
How cute is that? These are the charms I decided to make to give to two strangers dogs!
It was so easy to make a dog charm and I couldn’t wait to see them in person!
Here is the one that I had made for Zoey!
I decided for Zoey I would use a picture of my family with Pluto when we visited Disney World. I also included the text “My Family”.
I love it!
It was hard to get a picture with Zoey moving around, but I know she loved it too! 😉
Stay tuned for a This Moment post with more pictures of the ordering process and directions!
Also, see what happens with the charms I made for two other dogs!
DogCollarCharms.com was a great site to work with and these make great gift ideas!
Another great thing I loved about them was their fantastic customer service! They were quick to help through email and Facebook!
