When the time came to start potty training my toddler, I read up on so many different kinds of advice. Some people told me to use pull-ups, some told me to just put him in undies and see what happens and some told me to just let him run around naked!
I ended up using a combination of all, but what really got him aware of having to go on the potty was putting on big boy undies and letting him have accidents. While I was excited that he was getting closer to becoming potty trained, I wasn’t excited for the mess my couches and carpet were going to become.
The first day that we tried the “undies only” experiment, I put towels on our couches but I quickly realized that I was going to run through most of my towels. Then it eventually happened – there was an accident on our couch.
Luckily, I had the amazing Urine Eliminator Spray and Urine Eliminator Wipes from Rug Doctor!
Rug Doctor Urine Eliminator actually destroys the source of odors and stains. It won’t just mask odors and remove surface stains, the active enzymes seek out and consume the deep-down source of stains and odors. It even destroys odors deep within the carpet backing and pad, which comes in handy if you have pets that are trying to mark their territory!
It’s really easy to use also, which I appreciate as a busy mom running after a toddler AND two pets!
All you have to do is thoroughly spray the affected spot with the Urine Eliminator, place a damp towel over the spot and let the area naturally dry. The active enzymes will deep clean the stain!
The packs of wipes are great too for quick cleanups! The best thing is that you can use both the spray and the wipes to clean everything from carpet, upholstery, pet beds and even mattresses!
You’ll be able to buy the Urine Eliminator Spray online or in a store near you that carries Rug Doctor products!
Have you ever used the Rug Doctor Urine Eliminator spray or wipes?
Disclosure: Thanks to Rug Doctor, I attended the Blissdom Blogging Conference. I’m excited to share more with you about Rug Doctor and their fabulous products!

I’ve never tried these, but they sound great! They would have really come in handy with our yellow lab and the unfortunate times that I had to clean up his messes.

Oh, potty training. Good times. And they’re coming up again very soon with our youngest. These sound like a great solution to the inevitable accident or two!

This would have been awesome when we had pets but I have never thought about using it for kid accidents. What a smart idea!

I really wish I had that when I was potty training C! I remember one spot in her bedroom that drove me crazy because of the smell after an accident!
