Last night was the first episode of the show The Private Lives of Nashville Wives on TNT and I’m hooked! The show features six accomplished, opinionated and driven women–who happen to be married to some of the biggest players in the country music industry–as they deal with professional challenges, family issues and social relationships.
Meet the Cast
– Erika is a stay-at-home Mom to two boys and a former actresses who starred on One Life to Live who is thinking about getting back into the business now that her kids are in school full time. She is married to Bryan White, a country music artist who has had six #1 singles.
– Sarah is a determined singer who is looking to get her name out there and pursue her dreams of being an artist in Nashville. She’s got a great voice and works hard. She’s married to Dallas Davidson, who has written or co-written 16 #1 hits and has become one of Music Row’s most in-demand songwriters.
– Cassie is a former Hooter’s waitress and is married to Christian country music artist Gary Chapman. Even though she is 23 years his senior and is often called a “trophy wife”, Cassie is determined to prove that their relationship is real and that they fell in love for all of the right reasons.
– Jenny is the Vice President of Living Social and also has an 18 month old son. In the show, you get to see how she balances work and family. Jenny is married to JT Terrell, the co-owner of Nashville’s premier event company, Music City Tents and Events, which hosts all of the elite large-scale parties in town.
– Betty is originally from Cuba and owns her own jewelry line called Betty Badd Couture. A Mom of three, she has an identical twin sister named Ana who is also on the show. Betty is married to Raul Malo, the lead singer of The Mavericks.
– Ana is Betty’s identical twin sister and a single mom to two children. She just started online dating and is struggling to find the right guy!
My Thoughts
I never watched the Real Housewives shows and from what I would read in magazines, I’m glad. But this show – I am loving it! This first episode titled “Bright Lights, Big City” introduces you to the six women and their families. It’s the week of the CMA Music Festival, which is the most important week of the year in country music.
My favorite of the Nashville Wives is Erica Page White. I totally connected with her as she said that women that are stay at home moms still have a voice and that sometimes you just want to do more! Plus, when I was stalking checking out her Twitter Feed, I loved the pictures she shared of her and her kids. Just because Friday Pizza Parties and Craft Kits from Michael’s – love it! She’s completely glam but seems like a down to earth Mom.
I also loved Sarah Davidson, who is an aspiring country music artist. She’s definitely talented and she WANTS it. She works hard and is passionate about making her dreams come true. I look forward to following along on her musical journey!
Ana and Betty CRACK me up. As a mom to twins, I loved seeing their interactions. Plus, Betty said one of my favorite quotes last night –
We all want our kids to be better than us.
Isn’t that so true? I know I want my kids to have more than me and be better than me. It’s just part of being a Mom!
I highly enjoyed the premiere of The Private Lives of Nashville Wives and can’t wait to tune in next week! You can catch up on the first episode and then tune in on Monday at 10/9pm CST on TNT!
This post was sponsored by MtoM Consulting but I already know that The Private Lives of Nashville Wives is going to become a quick favorite. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I missed last night’s episode (shame on me!). I am excited to see Erika – I love Bryan White’s music! It sounds like it was a great show, running to set my DVR now!
I haven’t watched this yet but, seems like a great show. I’ve kinda lost track with all the Wives shows. 😛
This is my kind of show! Definitely tuning in next time 🙂 Thank you for sharing!!!

I’ve never watched the real housewives either but I know several women who love it – I bet they’d love this too. I was surprised that I didn’t recognize any of these characters or their husbands but I don’t usually get into celebrity shows so maybe not knowing them is actually a bonus for me.
I saw this show advertised recently, looks good.
I’ve never watched any of the real housewives shows, but this season it sounds like they have a good lineup of driven and inspiring women.
I am HOOKED on the Real Housewives, I just cannot get enough! So, if this is like that show, I would definitely LOVE it!!!!
I love The Real Housewives of Atlanta! Hopefully I will like this one as much! I just love their wardrobe, life style, homes, cars and all that goes with a rich life! I guess I am dreaming someday I will be like this??? Ha ha
It seems as if reality television has a found a reality show for every niche market. It is nice to see that there is something for everyone.
This is a new one to me… Okay i will go look it up on my provider schedule. I find these reality shows to be quite a study on social behavior… 🙂
