I’ve mentioned on here before how I’m a fan of EASY recipes! I need to start using my crockpot more often because every time I make a meal with it, I’m reminded of just how easy it is. I recently made this meal and it was a HUGE hit in our household – in fact, my husband has already requested me to make it again! You’re going to love this recipe for Zesty Italian Crockpot Cheesy Chicken!
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts (Fresh or Thawed Correctly)
- 1 Packet of Zesty Italian Dressing Seasoning
- 1 8 oz. Package of Philadelphia® Cream Cheese
- 2 Cans of Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 Box of Rotini Pasta Noodles
Instructions
- Combine chicken breasts, seasoning, cream cheese and cream of chicken soup in crockpot.
- Cook on high for 4 hours.
- About 20 minutes before you are ready to serve your dinner, prepare your Rotini Noodles by boiling them.
- After draining, pour noodles in crockpot and mix together.
- Serve and Enjoy!
- Note: At the 3 hour mark, I did open up the crockpot to shred the chicken up a bit and stir.

How much chicken … in pounds?
Do you add the water for the soup? Or just whats in the can of cream of chicken?
I didn’t add any water, just what was in the can. So good!

Looks delicious!
Does the chicken come apart in the crockpot? In the picture it looks shredded?
See bullet point #6:
“Note: At the 3 hour mark, I did open up the crockpot to shred the chicken up a bit and stir.”
🙂
Yes, about 3 hours in I shredded the chicken a bit!
This might sound dumb, but is it 18oz or cream cheese or 1(one) 8oz of cream cheese?
Also, what quantity is the pack of italian seasoning?
Same question for the box of pastas. I found many sizes of boxes 😉
I used a 12 oz. box of rotini noodles and just an 8 ounce bar of cream cheese. I also just used one pack of the italian seasoning! Not dumb, I should have clarified!
Hello, thanks for you follow up. I’m still confused about the noodles. Pastas are not measured in ounces (at least not on my box haha), and if I check my measuring cup, 12oz equals to about 1½ cup… which doesn’t seem enough pasta to go along with 4 chicken breast.
Any idea on what I might not understand? lol
Here’s a link to a similar pasta I buy. At the bottom, it says 12 oz. Sometimes I buy 16 oz boxes. Basically, I make a whole box of pasta for this recipe!
Link didn’t follow, sorry 🙁
I’ve added about half a box, and I think I might have about half and half ratio of chicken and pasta. Next time I’ll add the entire box 🙂 That would be 454g for those keeping notes 😉
Looks delicious! I love how quick and eat this recipe is. Zesty Italian dressing is the best and SO flavorful.
How many servings does this yield?
Looks delish!! I absolutely will try this & so easy too:)
I love how creamy and flavorful this looks. Delicious recipe!
